Creative Card Crew challenge wk4 and whiff of joy by the skin of my teeth!!

I found a new challenge!

this weeks challenge over at CCCC was to use textures on your card it was also a fab excuse to colour one of my Bella images given to me by the lovely Tasha 'thanks Tasha!'

The textures on my card were made with my cuttlebug embossing folder which I then sanded, dew drops for the bubbles and some lace which i bought from e-bay (6x3m rolls for 99p and they were all different hows that for a bargain!!!) sentiment was hand written (as if you couldn't guess!) image coloured with pm need to work on the shading though! hmmm!

Just in time to squeeze in my card for this weeks WOJ challenge which was a fab sketch

I had a bit more practise shading this image and i have to say i love the results this time !!

a little trip out for a fab day........!

Well what a day I had in Harrogate on saturday it was such a treat to be surrounded with such fab products and crafty stash...

Well Kirsten and myself set off at 9:15 am her o/h was driving I was so excited as this was my first ever craft show and I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived I couldn't believe how many people were already busy buying stash.

We decided on a method to make sure we didn't miss anything which was to do one side of the hall at a time and a break for lunch in the middle...........

My favourite stalls were Craft work cards, hobby house and lili of the valley....they had some fab products and some beautiful stamps ....

whilst browsing the stalls i'm sure I spotted Wendy rhodes and Sara from Create and craft much to Kirstens embarrasment (Wholly down to me may I add) as i said quite loudly 'theres sara from crafters companion just as she looked up and spotted Kirsten looking in her direction soz honey i was a little create and craft star struck!!!!

We kept a good eye on the time after lunch as we were meeting Kath at 3.30 at the cafe which I was soo looking forward to.....

I managed to get some nesties!!!! (my first set) and a new fiskers border punch and a WOJ stamp that I have been after for ages I'll share her with you tommorrow if I have chance as I have inked her up but not had chance to colour her yet..........cant wait!!!!

Then at last I got to meet the lovely Kath we chatted and had a lovley time she introduced me to Dawny P, who in turn then introduced me to Marcea and her mum who were also at the show it was lovely to meet them and have a good natter, Kath gave me a beautiful folder of penny black images which I showed in my previous post and some lovely craftwork card goodies and more images!!!! and i gave her a little something too! before we knew it the announcer had announced that the show was closing at half four ( 10 mins!) , the time had flown but there was just enough time to check out one last stall before saying our goodbye's..........

I had such a fab day with Kirsten and meeting new bloggy friends I can't wait for the next show

TYI and Penny Black Saturday just for you Kath lol!!

But first its challenge time and this weeks TYI was 'cute and cuddly' well I was given a lovely present of an image folder and some fabby Craft work card goodies yesterday from the lovely Kath

I thought it would be nice to make the tag from the goodies and dedicate it to her......
so this is for you Kath ......

And The challenge over at Penny black was spring and I thought my DCWV papers 'blossoms and butterflies' would be perfect I got to use new stash on this card (more about that tomorrow) and a big bloggy hug to Kirsten who gave me the sissex alphabet it was such a lovely gesture, thanks hun I love it!!!!

New Anya all grown up!!!

My beautiful new Anya stamps....they are so gorgeous and a joy to colour here are 3 cards I made tonight just so i could ink them up!!!

TYI and Penny black Saturday Challenge

These are my two fav challenges at the moment....


This weeks challenge over at Penny Black Saturday was doodles...... you had to include doodles on your card....
I hand drew the doodlea around the edge of the card and round the image this card is one I made for a work colleague for her mum's birthday...the image is coloured with wc pencils and the papers are basic grey ( my total fav at moment!!)

And this is the tag for this weeks TYI challenge....this week it was a recipie 1 ribbon 2 buttons and 3 brads or eyelets....

The Image is one I won over at sketch saturday a few weeks ago so I thought i'd try a different style I quite like it although its very different from my usual style........

Hope you like them
