Yes, I am still having a pause but want to tell you about the new stamps from Chocolate Baroque!
They are again superdupergorgeous!!Sue, the CB designer did a great job again!
There are 3 new sets : Fantasy Woodlands, Spring Foliage and Spring is in the air!

Blog pause........Blog pauze......

Hello there,

At first welcome to some new followers! It's nice if you bring a visit to my blog! Only having a break now....sorry!

I have to announce a short blog pause while I am working on a large project! So won't be blogging and visiting other blogs....just need every minute of free time! Hope I don't make you curious now....LOL
Maybe I have some older pictures to show......so when I have a minute........

Ik wil even een korte blog pauze inlassen in verband met een project waar ik mee bezig ben! Dus ik blog even niet .......heb even elke minuut van vrije tijd nodig hiervoor! Hoop dat ik jullie niet nieuwsgierig maak...LOL
Misschien heb ik nog wat oudere foto's om te laten zien.....dus wanneer het even lukt....

Designs by Ryn, colourful design......

Hello there,

As promised today another card using the lovely stamps of designs by Ryn. I've used several of her stamps; Celtic star no. 2, the gorgeous waterdroplets, and  the patio stone. I really love her bakcground stamps and I hope also that there will be a craftshop in the Netherlands who will purchase her stamps. They are not for sale here in the Netherlands but you can order them from her webshop.

I have made a background with blending Distress inks and a crafters template; 'Squircle', a versatile template to work with. I also sprayed it over with a shimmer mist spray. I stamped the waterdroplets and patio stone with the same  colours and added some white highlights. The Celtic stars are embossed with Wow  brass emboss.powder and coloured with waterbased markers.(I use Tombo markers)

Zoals beloofd een andere kaart met de mooie stempels van designs by Ryn. Ik heb diverse van haar stempels gebruikt; Celtic star no. 2, de gave  waterdroplets, en de the patio stone. Ik vind haar achtergrond stempels echt prachtig en ik hoop nog steeds dat er een winkel is in Nederland die haar stempels wil gaan inkopen. Nu verkoopt niemand ze nog hier maar je kunt ze natuurlijk wel in haar
webshop kopen.

De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met het blenden van Distress inkten en een crafters template 'Squircle' een veelzijdige mal om mee te werken. De Stamping corner heeft z'on beetje de hele collectie van de crafters templates, dus neem eens een kijkje.....ik werk er erg graag mee. ik heb ze ook nog een met glimmer spray bespoten en dat geeft ook een leuk effect. De waterdruppels en patio stone zijn met dezelfde tinten gestempeld en wat geaccentueerd met wit potlood.
De Celtic stars zijn geembosst met WOW brass en gekleurd met markers op waterbasis.(ik gebruik Tombo's)

Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque- oosterse landschapjes van Chocolate Baroque

As promised I will show you today my creations with the Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque. They are great to make scenery's and just for a quick and simple card in combination with scrap paper!
Here is the first one; I've used the Prima paper 'Firefly' a gorgeous paperpack with vibrant colours. Only a little sponging created the hills. Stamped the pagoda's and text from the Eastern Landscape sheet , the mimosa branch and waterlily from the 'Lilypad sheet'. I've added some pencil colouring and a pearl pen.

Zoals beloofd laat ik vandaag mijn creaties met de Eastern landscapes from Chocolate Baroque. Ze zijn geweldig om landschapjes mee te maken en ook voor een simpele en snelle kaart in combinatie met mooi scrap papier.
Hier is de eerste; ik heb hier de Prima paper 'Firefly' gebruikt, een prachtig scrapblokje met levendige kleuren. Alleen wat sponswerk om de heuvels te maken. De pagodes en de tekst zijn van de Eastern Landscapes, de mimosa tak en waterlelie zijn van de Lilypad sheet'. Ik heb nog wat potlood accenten aangebracht en wat parelpen.

The 2nd one is sponged in a circle and also used the crafters template 'Bamboo' in and outside the circle. The quote is from the Words of Inspiration, like all the Word series stamps a promo offer this week. They are also great to make a simple and quick card only using a quote.

De tweede is gesponst is een cirkel en ook de Crafters mal 'Bamboo'gebruikt in en buiten de cirkel. De tekst is van de Words of Inspiration, net zoals alle  Word series stamps een aanbieding deze week. Ze zijn ook geweldig voor een simpele en snelle kaart met alleen een tekst.

The 3rd one is made with much more vibrant colours. I've had this background piece already waiting in my stash. I've used the lovely Grafik 45 papers with it (Birdsong) Simple black stamping and adding accents with colour pencils.

De derde is gemaakt met veel fellere kleuren. Ik had dit achtergrondje nog liggen in m'n voorraad. Ik heb hier het mooie Grafik 45 scrap papier gebruikt(Birdsong) Eenvoudig zwart stempelen en wat accenten met kleurpotlood. Een snelle kaart dus.

The 4th and last one is my favorite I think.... also this background was made some time ago.....when I am creating backgrounds I always create a lot of them and keep them waiting for the right moment/stamp to come by..... I did some masking on the rocks to create a rocky landscape and stamped the pagoda with a soft colour to create a kind of mist.... the mimosa branches are again from a clear sheet 'Oriental crane'

Already there were the Texture fragments( embossed with Wow white Twinkle) and the word 'Beauty' from the Artistic Expressions.

De laatste en wel m'n favoriet denk ik......ook deze achtergrond had ik nog liggen....wanneer ik achtergronden maak, maak ik er gelijk een heleboel en laat ze vaak liggen tot het juiste moment/stempel voorbij komt.... Ik heb wat gemaskerd bij de rotspartijen en de pagode gestempeld met een zachte kleur om het effect van mist te krijgen.......de mimosa takken zijn van de clear sheet 'Oriental crane'.

De Texture fragments (geembosst met Wow White twinkle) en het woord 'Beauty van de Artistic Expressions stonden al op deze achtergrond.
