It's all about exquisite.....

Hello crafty people,

Today I have a lovely combination to show you made with the Exquisite edges and one of  the Fabulous Flapper ladies. I think they are a good match......

I had this background with the deco flowers for quiet a while . The flowers come from the Nouveau lovebirds. There are so many sheets in the CB collection that will combine perfectly with these edges, all elegant and stylish!

And now onto my card.......

Hallo creatieve mensen,

Vandaag heb ik een mooie combinatie om jullie te laten zien met de  Exquisite edges en een van de Fabulous Flapper ladies. Ik denk dat ze goed bij elkaar passen......

Deze achtergrond met bloemen lag al weer een tijdje te wachten op een vervolg en nu heb ik het dan eens afgemaakt. De bloemen zijn van de Nouveau lovebirds.

Er zijn zoveel stempel sets in de CB collectie die perfect combineren bij deze randen, allemaal elegant en stijlvol!

En nu naar de kaart.......

The background was made using Distress inks onto watercolor paper. Some shading with color pencils and adding some white highlights. I have embossed the upper edge using Wow embossing powder Ruby Romance and the lower edge was done using one of the new colors, Atlantic seaspray, a turquoise with gold sparkles.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Distress inkten op aquarel papier. Wat accenten en schaduw met kleurpotloden en wit voor de highlights. Ik heb de bovenste rand geembosst met Wow Ruby Romance en de onderste met een van de nieuwere kleuren, Atlantic Seaspray, een turquoise met goud glitter.

Than I stamped the lady....I used a few Memento colors to ink her up and dabbed the ink on the lower part of her dress to let it fade. Than I extended some lines with color pencils.

Hierna heb ik de dame gestempeld met diverse kleuren Memento inkt en heb het onderste gedeelte van haar jurk vervaagd met een babydoekje. Toen wat lijnen verlengd met kleurpotlood.

Hoop dat jullie het leuk vonden en inspiratie hebben opgedaan. Ik vond het leuk om deze te maken.

Colourchallenge 16 at Chocolate Baroque!

Today I will show you my take on the 16th colourchallenge at Chocolate Baroque. Another 4 lovely colors to play with, come on and join! we like to see your creations.

I have a Christmas creation for you using the lovely Christmas foliage, still a favorite with these beautiful open and solid ivy leaves and Poinsettia swirl.

Vandaag laat ik jullie mijn idee zien van de 16e kleurenchallenge bij Chocolate Baroque. Weer 4 leuke kleuren om mee te spelen, doe je ook mee? We vinden het leuk om jouw creatie te zien en je kunt er een leuk winkel tegoed mee winnen bij Chocolate Baroque.

Ik heb een kerstcreatie voor jullie met de mooie Christmas foliage, nog steeds een favoriet met deze mooie open en dichte klimop blaadjes en een Poinsettia swirl.

Gelli-arts Colourstock........my first blogpost

Today my 1st blogpost as a DT member of Gelli-arts Colourstock. I have those Gelli-plates quit for a while in my stash....but did not (take) have the time to use them frequently and they are so much fun to play with.......

I did write a step by step photo tutorial but sometimes during the process I forgot to take a photo......

Now, let's start and if you have a Gelli-plate....take out your paint and walk along.....

I did start with the 6"x6" Gelli-plate, some basic ARA acrylic paints, my mega mount acrylic plate( Clarity stamps) a brayer and some smooth cardstock which I already cut into the right size so it would fit exactly on my mega mount acrylic plate. And of course a lot of extra A4 copy paper and cleaning material.
