Overflowing Florals

I made another card using the gorgeous Overflowing stamp set from the new Penny Black release called All Smiles. These flowers are just so beautiful and fun to colour. I coloured them with my Copics before die cutting them with the matching die, Overflowing Cut Out. I wanted to add a bit of greenery so I die cut some leaves with the Fall Fern die and ink blended them with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink. For the background, I die cut a frame with Frame It die and inked its edges very lightly with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment I used is from the Love & Light sentiment set. I adhered everything in place before embellishing the card with some black gems.

Overflowing

I really liked the sketch I used for my previous card which is a sketch from Permission to Play video series by Jill Foster of Penny Black so I decided to use it again. This time I made a floral card with it using new stamps from the latest Penny Black release called All Smiles. These flowers are from the set Overflowing and they have a set of matching dies called Overflowing Cut Out. I really like the fun tea cups from the new set Brew-Tea-Ful that have matching dies as well, Brew-Tea-Ful Cut Out, and used one of the cups for this card. I coloured the images with my Copics before die cutting them. I then used a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad Coco Style for the background and, following the sketch, added a piece of off-white cardstock on the card. I also decided to layer the piece of cardstock onto a piece of dark grey cardstock so that it would stand out from the patterned paper a bit better. The sentiment I used is from the sentiment set Brighten the World. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sparkly gems.

Purr

There is a new release by Penny Black called All Smiles and this sweet stamp is one of the gorgeous new stamps. This is called Purr and I just love it! The look on the little girl's and the cat's faces - priceless!

Jill Foster of Penny Black is also doing a video series on YouTube called Permission to Play with loads of wonderful sketches. I wanted to play, too, and did this card following one of Jill's sketches. I coloured the image with my Copics and stamped the sentiment from the sentiment set Smiles on a panel of Copic friendly cardstock which I also matted onto a piece of brown cardstock. Instead of using an embossing folder like Jill did, I wanted to use patterned paper from the paper pad Painted Blooms for the background. I attached it to my card base and attached the panel onto it with foam adhesives.

Flower

Here's a simple one layer card I made with Thankful for Friends stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio. I coloured the image with my Copics and added a bit of white gel pen here and there. I then used a stencil from the Background Basics stencil set by Penny Black and blended some Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Old Paper on the panel. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment (it says 'Congratulations' in Finnish).
