I haven't made anything new in a while with the holidays and trying to get things done for presents. I decided to share another altered notebook that I made for the Papertrey Gueststar Stamper contest (last one, I promise! I just haven't been making anything new so I don't have anything new to share). This is another notebook from Target. The edge where the binding is is covered with fabric so you don't have to worry about covering that part. Just where the cream and flower patterned paper is on the notebook is covered with paper. I made the patterned paper using the Spiral Bouquet stamps and CTMH ink. The sentiment is matted on CTMH Hollyhock paper. The pink ribbon is Off Ray. As a last touch, I added clear dew drops to the flower centers and pink dew drops to the sentiment corners.

Dreams are wish your heart makes
I love that sentiment! I made this altered notebook for the Papertrey Gueststar stamper contest. The patterned paper is created using Spiral Bouquet and so is the sentiment. The notebook is from Target. They are great for altering! Ink is CTMH and ribbon is Offray from Walmart. Sorry this is a short post, but I'm working on printing up my calendars for Christmas gifts for grandparents. I really like how it turned out and can't wait to share, but that will have to be after Christmas.
Is everyone ready for Christmas? We're just about there, but nothing is wrapped yet!

Cocoa Tins
I created some cocoa tins to sell at the craft fair, too. My only problem is I have no idea what to charge. Any ideas? I made homemade cocoa with marshmallows to fill each tin. I covered the tins using DCWV Christmas stack papers from years past and double sided tape. The labels were stamped using the Papertrey Ink Holiday Treats
stamp set. I also used miscellaneous ribbons from my stash and CTMH ink.
Edited to Add: I've had some questions about the supplies I used to create these. I used this stamp set by Papertrey Ink and the tea tins are also available at Papertrey Ink. Hope that helps!

nugget box
Okay, this is it. Finally, the end of the projects that I'm going to post from the Papertrey contest. Took long enough, didn't it?! I created the template for the nugget box myself. I wanted a box where the lid lifted off instead of the sliding lid and I wanted to be able to see the nuggets inside when the lid was closed. So, I created the box based upon the dimensions of the Hershey nugget candy and created a window in the lid. I adhered a piece of acetate to the window so it is still a sturdy lid, but you can see through it. I created the bow using Nichole Heady's idea on her blog (from the Faux Ribbon countdown) and the ribbon from the digital kit.

my winning entry
This is the project that I entered in the Papertrey contest that won! I created this scrapbook in a box using the digital kits. I gave it to my husband's grandma, who just had surgery. All the papers and paper embellishments are from the kit. I simply changed the colors. I created the bow with strips of paper that I had printed the ribbon on. I scalloped the edge of the lid with a corner rounder and punched holes to make it look a little lacy. Inside there are photos of my kids.

birthday invite
I needed to create some really fast birthday invitations for my son's birthday party (yeah, they should have already been mailed out). I wanted them basic and quick and cute. LOL This is what I came up with. I just tore the edge of the green cardstock to make it look like uneven grass. I stamped the sentiment from the Paper Tray set. I used Cuttlebug dies to cut out the train engine, car and caboose. Then, I used chalk for the clouds and steam and I was done. It was easy to make a dozen of these this afternoon. Thanks for looking.
