Creative Inspirations - Sentiments Only / No Stamped Images Allowed!

Thank you for the comments on yesterdays card!

Incase your interested my Dentist put me on some anti-biotics, although I'm not too happy about it as I now can't drink for a week and it's bank holiday weekend! grrr!

However, I did go to Hobbycraft afterwards and spent a few pennies so that did cheer me up a bit!

This weeks challenge over at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS is to only use Sentiments on your work, NO STAMPED IMAGES ALLOWED.

I thought this would be a good challenge as sometime a card with the simplest layout and just a sentiment works just as well to one highly decorated with an image!

This also fits into the following Challenge:

( I moved the flowers on the sketch as I felt they went better on the side on my card)

Everybody Art - Spring!

Good Morning!

This is a quick post from me as I am due at the dentist in an hour (groan) due to my lovely gum growing over a growing wisdom tooth .... ouchy!

I don't think I have been up this early for a good time! lol

Sketch Saturday Challenge ...

Good Afternoon!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Mine has been okay, went out last night but had a bit of trouble so that lowered it a bit and I have had constant pain in the side of my mouth ... my gum seems to be trying to grow over a growing wisdom tooth so I think I may have to ring the dentists next week, grrrr!

However I am looking forward to Dancing on Ice tonight, I wonder who will win?!

Yesterday I managed to get a Challenge card done using the sketch over at

SKETCH SATURDAY.

I seem to have fallen in love with this style of Penny Black stamps at the moment, I can see a lot more cards being made using them :)

I did however swap the 3 circles on the sketch for flowers as I felt it went with my card better.
