A Little Something To Share ...

Good Afternoon!
Apologies for not stopping by over the weekend as promised but time has simply flown by recently and I still haven't managed tog et everything done at the house! Pairing that with the fact that my internet won't be on until Monday it's quite hard to find time to pop up to my parents and steal theirs! lol

However I have managed to quickly this afternoon to share some photo's of how the house is looking so far!

I still have touching up to do on the walls and Skirting Boards along with a few more bits of furniture to get but it's all coming along nicely :)

I had intended to be back to normal with my cards this week but I am afraid that won't be the case, however I will get atleast 1 or 2 made after work as I shall be popping into my parents on my way home and that is where my craft stuff still is! lol

J&C Creations - Something A Little Different!

Good Morning!

An extremely quick post for me today! I managed to get this tag made in between sorting the house stuff out for the new challenge over at J&C CREATIONS MONTHLY CHALLENGE which is try Something A Little Different! I decided to try Whitewash Stamping which is to stamp using the Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Stain. 

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

I shall let you into a little secret ... the colour scheme on this tag is the same colour scheme I am going to use in my Bedroom! I created the background for this tag by blending the inks onto a tag then misting lightly with a Perfect Pearls Mist that I created with the Perfect Pearls Powder - Pewter and the Distress Re-Inker Shaded Lilac from the Spring Ltd Edition Set.

As promised I have a card to share with you all along with a very short post! lol My first day at work went okay yesterday, admittedly it's not the best job in the world but it's okay :) Although teeming that with all the stuff Im doing at the house to make it ready to move in after work this week is going to be pretty busy for me! Just Popping By...

Hello!

Just popping by to say I hope you don't think I have forgotten all of you, I haven't! lol

As you know I was hoping to get a house to rent this week, well I found out that I have been successful on Friday and get the keys tomorrow! So the past few days have been full of buying furniture for the new house as seeing this is my first I don't have anything! lol I also start my full-time job on Monday so it's going to be a pretty hectic next few weeks so please bear with me as I simply won'e have much time to craft due to this but I have made sure I have a card to share on Tuesday for PTW with you all :)

Right I best get back to my furniture hunting, enjoy the rest of your weekends!

Thank you for all the congratulations messages about the full-time job I am starting next week btw and I am waiting to hear back about a house I would like to rent ... so please can you all keep your fingers crossed for me :)

Today's card is for our new challenge over at CHARISMA CARDZ which is Monochromatic! I have chosen to use this lovely shade of Turquoise for my card. As you know monochrome can be black & white but also just the same of 1 colour.
