12 Tags of 2012 ... September!

Good Evening!

As promised I'm back with my version of the September tag from 12 Tags of 2012 by Tim Holtz! Better late than never! lol I only received some of the items needed for it this week and didn't get the chance to make it until this afternoon ... I will admit I was unsure about it as it's definitely not my usual style but in the end I really like it! Here is Tim's tag ....

CUTE CARD THURSDAY - LETTERS & NUMBERS

TIM HOLTZ 12 TAGS OF 2012 - SEPTEMBER

To create the butterflies I first cut them out of the Movers & Shapers Die, covered in Black Paint Dabber & Distress Stickles then added Liquid Pearls to the centre of each. To finish off I added 3D Gloss!

I don;t have any 'Black Soot' Distress Stain ... yet ... so to ink the ribbon I swiped my ink pad across instead.

Joanna Sheen - Down In The Garden!

Good Afternoon!

Apologies for the lateness of this post, as you all know by now my timing has gone out of the window due to lack of time for everything! lol You can expect two posts from me today ... this post for the new challenge over at JOANNA SHEEN which is Down In The Garden and Il finally be revealing my September 12 Tags of 2012 Tag a little bit later once it's dried! Nothing like rushing in at last minute! lol

As I have just mentioned there is a new challenge at JOANNA SHEEN and I have used a stamp I was sent a couple of months ago for this card. I was sent some lovely decoupage sheets but try as I might whatever I made just didn't look right!
This card isn't my usual style but I needed to make something quick and easy!
