My Top 3 Cards from 2020!

Good Morning!

As promised I'm back today to share my favourite creations from this year, due to work I haven't really had as much time to craft as I'd have liked but fingers crossed that will be rectified next year. For now though here's a look at my favourite cards along with a brief description of why I have chosen each particular design.

I'm starting with a bunny card as I feel that you can't go wrong with cute animals and flowers and this card combines them both! 

Next up it's all about Sunflowers and one of my favourite colours, yellow! This is another Penny Black stamp that I actually sold on a few years ago, however I'm regretting that decision as I don't think I have any of the stamped images left over anymore haha 

Finally we're going back to the spooky season with this cute little witch from LOTV. I love the cute design and I always enjoy using Halloween colour schemes!

My Top 3 Christmas Cards of 2020!

Good Morning!

Well it's that time of year already, it's Christmas Eve! Every year I like to share with you my favourite Christmas Cards that I've made throughout the year, this has definitely become one of my favourite Christmas traditions. I've narrowed it down to just 3 this year due to the fact I haven't been able to craft as much as I'd hoped, here's hoping life is less hectic next year!

I'm starting with something Clean and Simple, as most of you will know I like to make cards in this style from time to time. The stamp I've used is perfect for this style and I just finished it off by highlighting it with some glitter stickers. 

Next up is one of my favourite LOTV cards from this year, I just love their penguins! 

I teamed it with some traditional colours and I must admit I liked the card that much I couldn't bear to part with it this year lol

Last up is a card using one of my all time favourite Penny Black stamps. You can't beat the oldies!

LOTV Simply Prints!

 Good Morning!
Along with Digi stamps LILI OF THE VALLEY also have Simply Prints which are perfect if you're in a rush and don't have time to colour, which tends to be me more often than not these days lol 
Today I am sharing a card that I've made using one from the recent 'James Bear' release called 'James Looking Up' which will probably be used as a Thank You card after Christmas. If you'd rather stick to the usual Digi though don't worry, he is still available as that too.

PBSC December Challenge!

Well with Christmas just around the corner of course I played along with the Winter Wonderland theme! Creative Inspirations December Challenge!

Penguin Friends

    Good Afternoon!
I'm carrying on with the festivities today and sharing another Christmas card, I can't believe we're almost at December! It's taken me almost 3 days to get this card finished from when I started colouring the image, I really do wish there were more hours in the day sometimes lol

Creative Inspirations November Challenge!

Good Morning!

This month at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS we have the theme of Winter Wonderland!

This month's prize is from CRAFTY RIBBONS and the prize is 1m lengths of each of these designs from their new Winterscene range!

I have a little tub in my desk drawer that is full of loose Card Toppers and images that I've cut out from shop bought cards I've received that I thought could be used as them (only on cards to friends / family of course). The image I've used today is a Topper that was sent to me by a crafting friend a few years ago and I think the image is adorable. 

I mounted it with some foam tape onto some cardstock that I cut from a stitched edge die, then I added some more foam tape and stuck the layers in the centre of a 4x4 card blank. I think these are the perfect size for cards where you want to try and keep the style clean & simple with all the focus on the main image.

LOTV Halloween Release!

  Good Morning!
This week LOTV are launching a Halloween Release and as soon as I saw the designs last week I couldn't wait to make a card with one of them! Today's card is using 'Pumpkins' and I can see her being very popular. Along with a range of Digi's there's also some new Sentiments and Printable Papers!

The papers I've used today are some that I must've had for going on 10 years and I'd completely forgotten that I had them until I had a proper look around my Craft Room a few weeks ago.

PBSC October Challenge!

Merry Christmas from a Snowy Couple!

 Good Morning!
Well unfortunately I didn't get any cards made during my fortnight off work, re-organising and dusting my Craft Room was the closest I got! I found out halfway through my time off that I had been given an Allotment so as you can understand my time was taken up with that lol I made this card before work yesterday however as I had been itching to make a Christmas Card ... It's a little simpler than my usual style and shockingly, I haven't added any flowers!
