digital collage

Een kadootje om m'n blogbezoekers een keer te bedanken, zomaar omdat het bijna herfst is:) Het is een digitale collage die ik in Gimp heb gemaakt, ernstig geïnspireerd door de mooie plaatjes die ik zo regelmatig voorbij zie komen.

monoprint

Sinds een paar weken volg ik lessen monoprinten en dit is het eerste stuk dat ik mee naar huis heb genomen. De opdracht is er eens naar te kijken om te zien of het 'af' is.
I'm in a mono-printing class since a couple of weeks. This is the first piece i brought home, the instruction is to look at it and see if i think it's finished.




Als het niks wordt, kan ik er altijd nog boekbanden uit snijden, het is nogal een groot ding: ong. 57x43 cm. Dat zouden dan wel gave bandjes worden *lol*
It's a rather large print, approx 22"x17". When all else fails I can use it to cut bookcovers from, that will be some cool ones *lol*

Ik ben helemaal verslingerd aan acrylverf en ik had nog wat canvassen liggen waar ik deze zomer aan begonnen was.
I'm totally addicted on acrylic paint and I had some canvases started this summer laying around.




De canvassen heb ik in juli met structuurpasta en acrylverf bewerkt, daarna zijn ze uit beeld verdwenen... Dit zijn twee kleintjes die ik nog over heb, aan de grotere heb ik vandaag verder gewerkt.
The canvases were prep'ed with modelling paste and acrylic paint in July, after that they went MIA... These are two smaller ones, I worked on a slightly larger one today.

Nog steeds niet klaar, maar voor nu ben ik er weer even klaar mee :)
Still not finished, but I'm done with it for now :)


Op de detailfoto's zie je de structuur goed en ook de stukjes tekst die er op geplakt zijn.
On the detail photos you can see the structure, the collaged book pages are slightly visible too.
