My Boy by Karen Grose

Good morning everyone, I hope you have had a great week.  It's Karen here again to show you another creation using PP products.

For this LO I've wanted to keep it very simple to show that these products are so fabulous that even with one product, you can create a stunning creation :)

"MY BOY"

On this LO I've only used one of the Satin Blooms.  I'm not a "flowers" girl, but these would be my favourite PP product to add a bit of color and "pop" to any creation.

And a close up :)

Well, that's it from me today.  Hope you are inspired in some small way.  Don't forget to visit the PP shop to see all the gorgeous new products that are available.  Think I'll be doing some shopping this weekend too :)

Happy scrapping

GUEST DESIGNER : MARELLE JACKMAN!!

Hi everyone,
I am thrilled to  a Guest Designer for Purple Pumpkin!  I had so much fun playing with all the fantastic goodies, from Flair buttons, to tickets, to funky covered buttons and lollipop embellishments and awesome washi tape!!

I have been scrapping for around ten years, have had layouts published in Scrapbook Creation, with layouts and a recent article in Scrapbooking Memories and Creative Keepsakes.

Here are some layouts I created using the fabulous Purple Pumpkin products!

The first layout is one of my daughter taken on Australia Day - the red Purple Pumpkin lollipop embellishment was perfect for my colour scheme!  I added the cute flair button and ticket to my journalling area, and finished the layout with the awesome tape measure washi tape!

My next layout of my daughter I went with a "Project Life" feel, and used the Purple Pumpkin red spotty button to give the "pop" to the page!
This next layout I used the Purple Pumpkin bright yellow spotty button, and changed it a little to match the arrows at the top of the layout.  Don't be afraid to change embellishments to suit yourself - just experiment!

I hope I have inspired you to try some of Purple Pumpkin's awesome products!

Hugs

Stop Press by Judith

Good morning and welcome to my last page share for the month. I created this page for a recent CSI challenge. I had fun creating lots of circles. I cut out circles from my cardstock and placed different patterned papers behind them. I added to the circles with various circular stamps from my collection. I have to admit these haven't seen the light of day for quite a while.
The photo is of my son when he was a toddler trying to read the newspaper whilst we were on holiday in the UK.

Here are a few close ups showing the Purple Pumpkin products I used.
Here I used an older hessian and denim round and a red spotty fabric button. I placed a kraft tag underneath. I have also used a flair button and resin flower, placed on a large wooden button. I have stamped on the plain back of it.

Another resin flower above my journal spot and half a red crocheted doily.

Another view of my embellie cluster.

Enjoy the remainder of your week.

You Are My Sunshine Layout by Julianne McKenna-De Lumen

Welcome to Monday morning, Purple Pumpkin friends. Yes, I know Monday's are difficult for many of us, so let's see if I can brighten your day just a little.

There is one thing I really love about scrap retreats - you cannot take everything with you, so you have to learn to be creative, and to make the most of what you have. It's amazing how masking tape, strips of washi tape, and scrap pieces of paper can make an awesome background. Yes, that is all I used to create this background. And I simply finished the layout with embellishments, stickers, flowers, fabric buttons, tags, and a little doodling.

I am still addicted to these Purple Pumpkin kraft tags. I've lost count of how many times I have used them on layouts. Seriously, they just go with everything. And no, I will not admit to how many of these tags I am hoarding, lol!

Oh, and yes, those are hand-made paper roses. I'm very much in to making flowers by hand, if I don't have purchased flowers that match my layout.

I'm not one for using a lot of black on my layouts, but when I do need a splash of it, these flair buttons do the trick perfectly. It's also a good thing that they come in so many other colours, too.

I love how the torn strips of washi tape almost look like strokes of grey paint. It gives such an awesome texture to the background.

So just because you don't have a room full of supplies at your fingertips, doesn't mean you can't create something spectacular with what you have. Use what is in front of you, think creatively, and be adventurous - it's never too late to try something new.

Thank-you for stopping by today. I hope I have been able to inspire you to look at your supplies (and scraps) in a whole new light.

Cheers and keep on scrapping,
Julianne.

"The Truth about Love" by Karen

Good morning PP fans.  Karen here today with another LO I have created using plenty of PP goodness.

Last month I was lucky enough to see P!nk twice in concert.  The second time I was in the front row of the "mosh pit" and could touch her !!   Was an awesome time :)

On here I have used flair buttons, washi tape, twine and a doiley.

"The Truth about Love"

Close up of the doiley, flair button and washi

Another close up with another flair button (perfect for this theme :)  ) and twine

That's it for me today.  Hope you all have time to scrap over the weekend, and be sure to visit the Purple Pumpkin shop and see the awesome new products in there.
