Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve and it is Evan's second birthday. I can't believe he is two already. He is getting so big so quick. We let him open his birthday gifts early this morning and Ian was so mad that Evan got the Lego train he had his eye on. Evan of course LOVES it!! The set is huge and takes up the entire living room but we will pick it up tonight after they go to sleep so Santa can come and bring even more cool stuff!

I will probably be AOL for a couple of days since we will be celebrating with family and friends and stuff. See you next year!!

PS. One of my resolutions for next year is to be a better blogger and to finally figure out how to put a cool looking title on my blog. If anyone can help me with that -- PLEASE let me know how. I want to be cool like all the other good little bloggers out there.

digital credits for what would be my banner if I knew how to get it up there is The Shabby Princess!!

Day 2 of Tags

Here are my next two tags. I really think I am going to make a back for number 2 because I used the phrase "under" the tree and I have the funniest picture of Darren and Ian both sticking out from under the tree when we were putting it together and I think it needs to be done! Much as he will love me sharing that photo!! LOL!!

12 Tags of Xmas

Well I was pointed to another blog (Melodee Langworthy)and she was doing the cutest little tags for her Christmas tree everyday. Since she challenged us to try something similar I decided to create a little mini tag book with 12 things that my family does every year at Christmas time. I don't know if call them traditions yet since some of the things we do are first or second go round but they may become traditions eventually.

Here is my title for my little tag book and tag #1.

DecemBRRRRR

Man it has been cold here. And not a flake of snow has stuck around. I don't mind it being cold as long as there is some pretty white stuff.

Dear Santa,
Please bring me a white Christmas.
Love,
Jen

It's a secret.

Don't tell but I made this for my secret sister. SHHHHHHH!

Whoops ...

Missed one. This was done using Around the Block paper, they were our Sponsor this month at Have Your Way With Paper. I got the wedding collection but didn't have any wedding pics so I added some green in to the mix and created a non-traditional holiday page!

My newest cool thing.

Well you know I spent a weekend in TX with my girlfriends from Military Scrappers Paradise. We had a blast and I guess I came back from TX with a little cowgirl in me because this is the first thing I bought.

Some new layouts.

Man I have been lazy I haven't shared my layouts lately.

There I should be all caught up now.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

And since I am finally in the holiday mood and got my Christmas tree up I thought that I would decorate here too.

Well I guess I don't feel too bad.

I was looking around some of my friends' blog and they seem to be just as behind as me. So I guess I don't feel too bad that I haven't blogged in over a week.

Promise to try not to let it happen again. And for all of you who are behind too -- BLOG! I miss you!!

Trick or Treat pics.

Just a couple of cute pictures of the boys from Halloween.

The 3rd little boy is a son of a friend who walked around the dorms with us. I love Ian's hat, it is Dhubby's old dress blue hat. He can't wear it anymore since he got promoted and now has to get the one with the "scrambled eggs" on it. But it makes a perfect policeman hat. Evan's costume is actually a pair of batman pj's from Target!!

My kiddos -- they are so cute!!

Had to share this one too. Evan couldn't say trick or treat but he totally got the idea that if he held his bag up at the open doors they would put lots of goodies in there. Took him 2 doors to figure out there was more to come and he didn't have to take the candy out but just go to the next door. He didn't want anyone else to touch his bag either -- even when it got too heavy for him to carry. He just dragged it behind him and would stop every once in awhile to unwind the handle and then drag it some more.

What a great night!!

More Layouts.

Couple that I did for the first of November.

Bad Blogger

I think that my mind has left the building or something I just keep forgetting about blogging. It isn't like I have anything better to do or maybe that is why I haven't been blogging. Man it is almost like the whole which came first the chicken or the egg. Do I not blog because I don't have anything to say or do I not have anything to say because I am not blogging about it?

Like the tootsie roll commercial -- the world may never know.

Can you tell how much NyQuil I have in my body just by reading this. Yep, we are all sick again. I am SO over colds. Maybe moving to San Antonio will be a good thing for us.

Well tomorrow is Halloween so hopefully I will have some good pictures to share with you.

Stay well!!

Been up to nothing...

and up to no good, I at least am not sick any more.

I have been playing on the computer for the last couple of days because I could and because it didn't require A) heavy lifting B) me to jiggle C) didn't make me puke.

I haven't blogged though lately because beside what has been coming up I really haven't done anything exciting. Isn't it sad when the most exciting thing you can say is that you aren't sick anymore.

Well at least I got 3 layouts done for tomorrow's Design Team Challenge over at IDOS. And that puts me at 114 12 x 12 layouts for the year. My goal was 104 (or 2 a week) so I have accomplished that goal! And that is just counting 12 x 12 layouts not the rest of the stuff that I have done that I don't even know where to being to categorize, maybe that will be next year. :)
