Layouts from October

I did these two last month but didn't get them posted at all.  Wanted to share them here before I stuck them in an album.  :)

This first one I did for ScrapAttackScrapbooking's Scrap Pink event but I didn't get it done before the time.  It was for the sketch challenge that Lauri posted.  I pulled out some old stuff for this one.  Paper is from Basic Grey, Stampin Up, Crate Paper, Scenic Route and American Crafts.

And this second one is just a random layout that I did, I used my Quickutz Polaroid die to make a backdrop for the picture and used up a bunch of letter stickers and rub ons from some past Studio Calico kits!

Happy Halloween

From my goblins to your's.... Happy Halloween!

Storybook Character Parade and Spooky Hallow

At school before dismissal the kids got to wear their storybook character costumes and parade around family housing.  They all looked so cute, I was very impressed by some of the homemade costumes -- one of my favorites was Wall-E!

Well here are my two Harry Potters!  They enjoyed themselves parading around family housing for all the parents and older kids.

And afterward I tried to catch a couple of shots of them alone in their costumes.  Check out my posers!

Friday night on post the units all set up their SPOOKY HALLOW.  I don't know why I can't say that without trying to sound spooky, I think I really just like the word spooky.  The kids got tons of candy (and they still have to trick or treat on Sunday!!) and little trinkets and had a blast running around.

Tales from the Fall Festival

On Oct 22nd, Humphreys American School had their Fall Festival.  It was fun, the kids got t-shirts to get into the spirit and they had games and bouncy houses.  Ian's teacher was in charge of the Pie in the Face booth and Ian happily paid his $2 to get to put a pie in her face!

Here are the outtakes from our afternoon!

Okay these are the rest from Mt Songnisan... Promise

I'm getting tired of looking at them too.  Who would have thought I would take that many pictures in one day.  I guess I am trigger happy.  And sadly, these are just the "good" ones.

Beautiful lake.

My guys.

What are they looking at?

Lots of fish!

Me and the little guys.

More piles of rocks, this one was really big.

Real waterfalls.

This is what happens when you give him the camera to hold while you are in the bathroom.

Have I mentioned the squatty potty?  This is what they look like, in the women's room on the floor.

More rock piles, don't know how they got over there except wading.

It was really pretty up there even if the leaves hadn't all changed yet.

Rest break.

Near the entrance/exit, they had these topiary squirrels that I loved!

Weird old tree.

We tried to walk on the little round rocks that are good for your health but man it hurt really bad!  We have wimpy feet.

They were pretty and went on for a long ways.
OK so that is all I am going to share from Mt Songnisan.  It was pretty and I would totally recommend it to any of my Korea friends who are here and looking for something outdoorsy to do with the family.  It is pretty well paved for the most part.  We want to go back sometime and make it to the top where you can climb on this huge rock and see for miles and miles.  Maybe in the spring!
