Hello Friday

Hello and welcome to the weekend, more seasonal temps in the forecast today with the possibility of more rain.  Yesterday we had a lightning and rain storm which resulted in outside sports events being postponed.  Today is my DH's birthday so I am sharing one of the cards that I made for him.  I used sketch inspiration from sketch #279 from Atlantic Hearts, some paper scraps that have been in my stash for years.  I think the paper may be from WeR Memory Keepers but I'm not sure, but I really like the patterns but it makes it hard to see the other layered strips!  I cut the word DAD using the Create-a-Critter 2 Cricut cartridge, added a stamped sentiment and a wood veneer heart and this card was done.  I am also sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #63 over at  Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday weekend and I hope you will return soon.

Thinking of You

Hello and happy Wednesday, another hot day here in the Commonwealth!  Today I am doing another quick drive by post as I meant to share this card earlier but as life would have it I didn't.  Today's card is one that I put together for an online crop hosted by Sketch N Scrap.  I used pattern paper from the Teresa Collins Urban Market 6x6 pad and a Paper Studio stamp for the sentiment.  I used the Richard Garay Make Amazing Happen, Amazing Blooms stamp/die set for the flower.  I'm sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge over at the Make~Motivate~Connect Linkup Party #3 which is a new series host by Christina Thomas on her blog.  I am also sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #62 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll return soon.

Congrats, Congrats, Congrats

Hello and happy Sunday, doing a quick driveby post as there's lots to be done!  My heart is happy and  I'm feeling emotional as today baby girl will be baptized at church this morning.   We continue to celebrate her with a pool party/cookout  this evening.  Today's project share is a card that I made for her using sketch inspiration from sketch #128 over at Sketch N Scrap.  The pattern papers came from the AC Spring 6x6 paper pad, a Jolee sticker, a  half doily leftover from a LO that I am currently working on,  a stamped sentiment and a few faux pearls from Recollections  finishes off this card.  I am also sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #62 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a blessed day.

Cut it Up #155 - ABCs or 123s

Hello and happy Friday, it's the weekend and there's lots to be done!  Today I'm sharing my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The challenge is ABCs and or 123s,  your project can include either or both.  Keeping with the school themed cards I made a graduation card which I know I will need  lots of them for 2019.  I used pattern paper from  the WeR Memory Keepers Hall Pass 6x6 paper pad, the Days and Dates Cricut cartridge for the number and the Wrap It Up cartridge for the cap.  I finished off this card by adding a small wood veneer star to the cap.

I hope you will head on over to the Cut It Up challenge blog for more inspiration and that you participate in our ABCs and or 123s challenge.  You have the chance to win a gift certificate from Heartfelt Creations  or  SVG Attic.  You have until Wednesday,  September 5, 2018 noon EST to share your project.

Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful week.  Looking forward to your next visit!

Back to School

Hello and happy Wednesday, less rain in today's forecast.  Where does the time go, I need more hours in my days!  Today's project share is a card that I created for my daughter as it her last year of high school so I wanted something a little more grown up for her.  These are exciting, bittersweet  and emotional times for us.  When putting the card together I looked at several different sketches but decided to just go my own way using miscellaneous papers, a Paper Studio embossing folder for the bricks, diecuts from the Teen Scene and Wild Card 2 Cricut Cartridges, stamped the sentiment and added a piece of washi tape.  I'm sharing this card for the Back to School challenges over at Die Cuttin' Divas and Bitten by the Bug2.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you'll come back soon.

Love You Tons

Hello and happy Sunday, doing a quick drive by post.  Today's project share is a card using sketch inspiration from Fall to Layout #84 over at Palm Trees and Pogo Sticks.  The pattern piece of paper came from the Teresa Collins Urban Market 6x6 paper pad, the  Lawn Fawn love you tons stamp set and a Recollections enamel heart sticker.  I cut the scallop edge with the cricut Accent Essentials  cartridge and I used  a  Promarker to color the elephants.  Although I have had the stamp set for several years this was my first time using it!   I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #61 over at  Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.
