A Pizza My Heart

Hello and happy Wednesday; cold temps, clear skies and no rain in today's forecast!  Today's card share is another lunchbox greeting card created using sketch inspiration from Tuseday Morning Sketches #492 and paper from the My Mind's Eye Blink of  an Eye 6x6 paper pad.  I used one of the Recollections Valentine's Day stamp and die sets that I picked up on sale and it doesn't necessarily have to be used for Valentine''s day.  I colored the pizza using my Sargent Art colored pencils and glitter gel pens.  I really like how this card came out and I think it looks better in person because I added some glitter to the eyes after I took the picture!  I'm sharing this for the February Anything Goes challenge #31 over at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.

Thank you for your visit, hurry back!

Boxed Card Set

Hello and happy Monday afternoon, I'm back sharing my second post for today.  This is a quick drive by post as I was undecided whether I wanted to share this project or not.  I created this project over the weekend after watching Tmika's  YT video.  I am most pleased with how the box turned out, I used some 110 lb gray card stock for the bottom and some printed acetate for the top.  The acetate came from a 12x12 paper pad that has been in  my stash forever.  I made the four A2 sized cards using scraps of paper mostly from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 pad, stamps, circle and oval dies, gems, enamel dots and sequins for embellishments. In the video she used one sheet of double sided 6x6 paper but I decided to just use scraps instead of using a piece of double sided paper.  I'm sharing this for the RAK challenge #408 over at Die Cuttin' Divas. This set has already been gifted to one of my co-workers who is always asking for cards at the last minute!

Take care and I hope you'll return soon!

Love You to Pieces

Hello and happy Monday, wind and sun today but more rain in the forecast this week.  I had a relatively quiet weekend, of course I didn't get a lot done but I did get a few things marked off my to do list!  I even got to hang out for a few hours with the RVA Scrappers!

Today's project share is another lunchbox greeting for my daughter.  I used sketch inspiration from CAS(E) this sketch  #310,  paper scraps from my stash that included pattern paper from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad.  The stamped sentiment is from the Cardz TV Favorite Phrases stamp set and the typewriter was cut using a Firefly die.  I am sharing this card for the Anything Goes challenge #83 over at Cardz TV.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return again soon.

Cut it Up #168 - Clovers (St. Patrick's Day)

Hello, happy Friday and let the weekend begin!  Today's project share is my latest design team project for the Cut it Up challenge blog, our theme for challenge #168 is Clovers (St. Patrick's Day) and our sponsor is KittenScraps.

This is one of those projects where I struggled which means I have mixed feelings about it.  I used one of the mice from our sponsor's Irish Blessings Digi Stamp set.  I colored the mouse with coloring pencils, cut it out using a stitched rectangular die, used papers from the  DCWV All Year Round paper stack,  I  cut the sentiment using the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge and added a few sequins to finish the card.

Now that you've seen my project, I hope you will head over to the Cut it Up challenge blog for more inspiration and decide to share your Clovers project for a chance to win a gift certificate from KittenScraps.  The challenge starts today and ends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12 noon EST.

Thank you for your visit, I hope you'll return soon; wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.
