Happy Birthday

Being stuck at home, I am getting a lot of birthday cards done :). We are now under a "Stay at home" order in our county until April 29th. Schools are closed indefinitely.

80 candles

So I got this great stamp and die cut set a couple of weeks when Concord & 9th had their huge blowout sale. I decided today to make my aunt a birthday card. She turns 80 in a few months and this card has 80 candles. Now, it took me awhile to "revise" the diecut and candles as it comes 17 candles per sheet. So I cut off 1 candle of each piece of paper and used 5 rows of candles to get the 80 candles. I also had to revise the width of the original cardstock to more than 6 3/4" wide but it all worked out and I hope she likes it.

Happy Easter

During our quarantine time, I decided to get my Easter cards done. I had made a few but needed a few more so thought I would make them using challenges from Paper Playful. As for where I am in NC, we are not under quarantine yet but we are asked to "shelter in place" which means to stay home and only go out for groceries or for medical needs and this will start Monday at 5 pm. I've actually been doing this anyway for the past week.

Here's Ben & Jerry again, this cute Easter stamp from Whipper Snapper. I watercolored them both using my Jane Davenport watercolors. The sentiment is by Hero Arts. I had to stamp the individual letters so they aren't perfectly straight but it's the best I could do.

I love this peek through die cut set but they are sure hard to capture in a picture. I really like this color combination. Hoping to cheer someone up with this card during the difficult times we're all experiencing right now! Stay safe, everybody!

It's not a chair photo for this challenge, but I have a plant on this card like in the challenge photo :). I am sending this to my chemo angel. If you haven't heard about chemo angel you can read about it here. I send out 2 cards a week to my chemo angel. I have been doing this since August 2019 and I am on my 3rd chemo angel. It's so rewarding.
