So much going on.....now I want to share my card I made for the SC209.....

Like I said our family is completely of schedule.....so I was up again late and just saw that Roxie posted the SC209. Since it was a pretty simple Sketch I thought I'll play along!!!

The colors I chose are from Tuesday's CC199 - So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter.....pretty though colors if you ask me, but I had no choice - it's late and my gray cell's are running out of steam - LOL!!!

I used the new *Special Delivery* Set from *There She Goes*. It will be available on January 1st, 2009 - check out Jessica's blog for more *Sneak Peeks*!!!

I made the Sketch into a 5" x 5" card. I colored the image with some matching Prisma Markers as well as the Handsome Hunter Marker. To dress it all up I added some Silver Brads.
If you go down one more post you can see another card I made with this same darling Set!!!
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~
I WANT TO WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!!

SC208 Howdy Angel, AMYRS7 Sent with Love....

Hello everyone!!!

My girls and I have been shopping in Savannah all day.....we had to jump on some of the awesome bargains!!! Now we are poor - LOL!!!

Here are two cards I've made for you all - these two are *Sneak Peeks*!!!

This cute *Angel* image is from *Treehouse Stamps* - it will be available on January 9th, 2009!!!!

My auntie is collecting *Angels* and I think I'll mail this card to her.....hope she'll like it????

I used last weeks SC208 for the layout. I used Real Red, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White CS for this card. The Angel's hair was colored with the Yoyo Yellow Marker and the rest of the body was inked with Black Stazon. I used Prisma & Copic Markers to color the Angel!!! I also added some red Shimmerz to the heart and dress!!! If you click on the photo you can tell I pierced the Real Red CS and I added some Dew Drops on the side!!!

I received my new Stamps from *There She Goes* and this fun new Set is called *Special Delivery*!!!

All of Jessica Knutsen's new Releases will be available January 1st, 2009!!! Make sure to play along in the Challenge over on Jessica's blog and check out the other preview's she has made!!!

For this card I used the Sketch#7 from Amy Rysavy. I stamped the mailbox image with Black Stazon and colored it with Prisma & Copic Markers. The hearts were stamped directly onto Real Red CS with Black Stazon and cut out. The sentiment was inked in Real Red and punched out with SU Punches.

I used Certainly Celery, Textured Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Whisper White CS.

This has been the first time were I created *clouds* - wahhoooo!!! Not sure if I did it right, but I kinda like them !!! I used Baja Breeze for the background!!! What do you think - do you like my clouds???

Hope you'll come back tomorrow - I have a fun *guessing game* for you and of course some *candy*!!! ~TFL~

FS99, OCCC Be Mine....

Happy Sunday!!!

I finally had a chance to sleep in this morning - I really needed a break.....

We've been rushing around and taking care of our little Mimi - who BTW is doing great - sassy as ever - LOL!!! Thank you for wishing her well!!!!

Of course I had to take a little peek on who the Featured Stamper #99 is...and today Barbara Schram is in the spotlight!!! You can view her beautiful gallery right here. I have chosen this fun little project she made for the Holidays. With Christmas being gone.... I decided to change it into a Valentine's Day project!!!

This project also came in handy, because the fabulous OCC Ladies are having this fun Challenge going on - click here to find out more!!!

I used the retired *Loves Me* DP and the the retired *Fancy Flexible Phrases* Set. The heart was punched out with an older EK Success Punch I've bought many years ago at Achiver's.
I created this cute little treat box with *Acetate* - I used the the 2,4,6,8 scoring formula....I trimmed the height of the box down to 3 1/2". The top and bottom DP is created with a 3" x 3"
DP -which I scored at 1/2" and 2 1/2" on both sides. I glued it all together with the Sticky Strip.
I filled the box with some yummy Caramel Hershey Kisses and decorated it with the 5/8" Rose Red Ribbon, Pink Karen Foster Scrapper's Floss and the cute new Bouquet Buttons from SU.
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

IC160 Thank You....

I just love, love, love the Saturday Inspiration Challenge!!! Stef always knows how to make me happy - LOL!!!

I was stalking Stef again tonight......and look what she or should I say the wonderful Mrs. Anne Ryan suggested - take a look right here - IC160.

I chose this fun *Garden Cottage Armchair* - don't ya just love those colors....??? Well I did and my MOJO was going straight into my stamp room!!! Talking about MOJO....I used Julee Tilman's fun Sketch#66 for my card.

All the flourishes on the Armchair gave me a *Springy* feeling....with our warm temperatures down here in the South no wonder!!!! I chose to the *Upsy Daisy* Set and the fab new *Raspberry Tart* DP from SU (it will be featured in the new Catalog - wahoooo)!!!

I used Rose Red and Kiwi Kiss Ink. Okay, here is how I did it.....I inked the whole image with Kiwi Kiss first. Then I took a wipe and removed the KK from the flower petals I carefully used a Rose Red *Stampin' Spot* and inked the flower petals . I also used a Rose Red Marker to cover the areas I couldn't reach. I just hope one day SU will come out with the matching Markers for the *In-Colors* - it would be sooo much easier - don't you agree??

The sentiment was inked in *Craft* Basic Black and embossed with Clear EP. I think this makes the sentiment pop a bit more too. I can't forget to mention the beautiful Kiwi Kiss Ribbon and the punched out *butterfly* from MS!!! I bedazzled the flowers at the end with the DD Glitter from SU.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Now here is another fun challenge you can play along:

We've hit the end of the road for the *Festive Flourishes Friday* and this one is *New To YOU*!!! Help us usher in the New Year with either a card to celebrate 2009 or celebrate something new that you just got your hands on! If you use new goodies, be sure to tell us which product/tool you used for your creation. Link your card with a comment on this post or upload your card to SCS using the keyword *FFFC4*. Of course, we'd love it if you added the *FLLC* keyword too so that your work will show up in the SCS Flourishes gallery! Remember, you can join our challenge at any time and, if you make up past challenges and complete all four - your name will be thrown into the hat for a free stamp set of your choice! Next week the Friends of Flourishes team will reveal their *New To You* cards and we'll also pick the winner of our drawing. So get those entries in before Thursday at 11:59 PM! Thanks for playing and...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Want to do some shopping??? Flourishes is having a Sale from Dec. 26-31! Check it out HERE!!!

TECC47 Get well soon.....

HAPPY TGIF!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas???

Ours was peaceful and relaxing. I'm still full from all the yummy foods and desserts we had!!!

We had a little scare Tuesday....our Miriam had the sniffles for a couple of days prior and we thought it's Allergies...our farmers around here were harvesting the last cotton and burning off their fields...well poor little Miriam came down with Pneumonia!!!

Thank goodness I took her to the doctor right away, since her fever didn't go away and it had spiked even with Motrin....a couple x-rays later, the Radiologist confirmed Miriam had Pneumonia.....anyway she is much better now and sassy as can be - must be the side effects of the medications - LOL!!! So after all I'm glad we had a low key holiday.

Like most of you I haven't had a chance to stamp and I was sooo happy to see that Taylor is hosting the Limited Supply Challenge #200 today - making a non holiday card!!! Isn't that fun - LOL???

I used the *Tea for Two* Set from *There She Goes*. The DP is from the SU *Windsor Knot* Collection. The Sketch is from Taylor VanBruggen's TECC47.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~
