Flourishes Timeless Tuesday

Happy Tuesday!!!

Are you ready for another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday???

The wonderful and super talented Dee Jackson is the hostess this week. She is challenging us to *GO GREEN*!!! What does that mean? Well, it means that you have to find something to redo, to reuse, so we can say we recycled!!! I know you have many items that were created that did not quite make it on a card and you stashed it away for another time. Also, there are all kinds of non-craft items in the home waiting to be reused for something crafty. So, the time is now!!!! Let us go green and recycle those items!!!!

For my card today I used some left over Certainly Celery CS - I tore it and added some Candle Light Shimmerz onto the torn edge. The top part was distressed and I also added some Shimmerz.

The ribbon is actually from a birthday party my daughter Rebecca went to two weekends ago. The girls were given some *thank you* cookies all wrapped up and tied with this super cute bright ribbon - I took it off the wrap and held on to it!!! As you can tell it came in handy for today's Challenge :)!!!

To my pleasant surprise it matches the PTI Raspberry Fizz color perfectly - wahooo!!! The button is from the new PTI Hibiscus color - perfectly match as well!!!

The roses are from the fabulous Flourishes *I love Roses* Set!!! I inked them twice in Raspberry Fizz and cut them out. The first rose was water colored with the same color and then I added some Candle Light Shimmerz. On the second rose I only added Shimmerz. The leaves were inked in Certainly Celery and softly water colored with the same color. I also added some Shimmerz to the leaves. Each of the roses were raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

At the end I inked the sentiment from the Flourishes *Mixed Greetings* Set with Basic Black and added some piercing on the top of the card.

Now it's your turn to get your left overs, put set a side items out or just finish up a project you've been holding off - can't wait to see what you will do?!? Make sure you'll stop by the Flourishes Newsletter to see all the Samples as well as all the other information to play along!!!

Please use the keyword *FTTC9* when you download your card to SCS!!!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!!!

TSG Sneak Peek, #3!!!

Hello again - so glad you stopped by for the final *Preview Day*!!!

This Set *Taste like Chicken* is a humorous one - my girls and I laughed our fannies off - LOL!!!

This card is a longer one 3 3/4" x 7 1/4". I used these colors - Kraft, Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze plus Watercolor Paper (Art & Supply Store).

I inked the car and trailer image with Black Stazon. The BG was water colored with Kiwi Kiss. The main image was also water colored...using - Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Basic Gray and Chocolate Chip.

The edges of the Watercolor Paper were distressed before I layered it onto the Baja Breeze CS. Next I pierced around the Very Vanilla CS and once I was done I raised this whole panel up with Stampin Dimensionals.

I really thought the sentiment was funny as heck - LOL -*If the trailer is a rockin'.....don't bother knockin'!*

I inked the sentiment in Basic Black. The first part of it was attached with a Chocolate Chip 1/2" Library Clip and I added some Kraft Taffeta Ribbon to it.

The second part was inked inside the card - I finished it by layering the Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla CS.

I'm the end of the *Blog Hop* line and I just want to make sure you'll go and see all the other girls as well.... if you are just starting out on my blog!!!

*There She Goes* - Sneak Peek #2

Happy Sunday!!!

Today we are featuring the second *There She Goes* Sneak Peek Set - *Tweeterpatend* - designed by Nina Brackett.

I was in the mood to create something super cute with it - just like the Set itself!!!

This card is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The colors I used are - So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink and White.

The DP is from the upcoming *Walk in the Park* Collection - love this DP - have you noticed I'm using it a lot?!? I created the *Recess Window* using the Circle Nestie and for the framing I used the Scalloped Circle Nestie.

The *grass* was trimmed with my little Paper Trimmer. I inked the little *eggshell* in Pretty in Pink onto the same color CS and cut it out. Next I ran it thru my Big Shot using the CB *Dotted* folder. The image itself was inked in Black Stazon and then *water colored* with So Saffron Ink. I also added this cute little *butterfly* on the side...it was stamped in Pretty in Pink.

The sentiment was inked in Black Stazon as well and punched out with the SU Key Tag Punch. The *little flower* was inked in Pretty in Pink and it fits the Trio Flower Punch perfectly!!!

To dress it all up I added the DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon above the little chick. I also added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to the butterfly, eggshell and the little flower by the sentiment.

I couldn't stop there...I had to add a little something next to my card - I think I'm excited about Easter coming up - LOL!!! As I was browsing over on the SCS site I found this template and this cute basket!!! Isn't it super cute???

I kept my basket very simple - I used the So Saffron Pattern DP Collection and punched the edges with the Scalloped Edge Punch. At the end I added the same DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon as on my card.

Here is a photo of the card and basket together - just click on it to see it larger!!!

Since I'm the end of the *Blog Hop* line - make sure you stop by all the other Trendsetters to see what they have created - IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WIN ANY OF THE FEATURED SET'S MAKE SURE TO COMMENT ON ALL THE BLOGS IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRAWING - MOST IMPORTANT ADD YOUR NAME TO MR. Happy Saturday!!!

My goodness this week has gone by in a flash....I was a busy little Stamper and I'm happy to show you two cards today!!!

My first one is for the OCC Challenge - Kim has challenged us to use this Color Combo - More Mustard, Bashful Blue and Not Quite Navy!!! Please visit the OCC blog for all the Samples and all the other info.

Oh my, I really had to think about this Color Combo, but after searching for a perfect Stamp Set - I came a cross the *Happy Harmony* Set and figured it would be perfect for the task.

I used the Mojo79 Sketch for my layout. The Not Quite Navy DP is from the Hostess Level I Patterns Pack featured in the past SU Catalog. The Ribbon is from American Crafts. I also used a new EK Success Punch (Michael's) on the top and bottom of the Bashful Blue CS. At the end I added the big Silver Brads.

For all the close ups please visit the OCC ladies on their blog - Cindy, Jennifer, Lori, Kim, Vicki, Frances, Robin, Loretta and Jenny.

**********************************************

If you saw a different card earlier, well I goofed....Yikes!!! I guess I was confused - LOL???
This is the *official* right post now - LOL. This card is for the There She Goes - Blog Hop!!!

Well - let me show you the right one we are *featuring* - this Set is called *Cupcake Mix & Match* - designed by Nina Brackett.

The layout is again from the Mojo79 Sketch. I used a monochromatic look on my card using Basic Gray and White.

The DP is from the upcoming *Walk in the Park* Collection. The Punch is from Martha Stewart (Michael's). Of course I had to add my favorite Silver Pearls to spice up the card....LOL!!!

At last I added the Organza Ribbon
