ODBDSLC90 Christmas Wishes....

Hello my sweet loyal stampin' friends!

First off I would like to wish you all a wonderful, peaceful and very relaxing Christmas. May the Christmas spirit lighten your hearts and bring you everlasting Joy! I also hope Santa will be good to you...*wink*!!!

Our family is celebrating the birth of our Savior tonight and will be taking it easy in our P.J.'s tomorrow. Before I kick back for a few days I want to share my last ODBD Shining Light ~ ODBDSLC90 project for this year. The theme this week is *ANYTHING GOES* as long as you use an ODBD Stamp Set!!!  We hope you will have a chance to play....this is actually a two week challenge!!!

I felt like making a little goodie bag and card......

The card features the beautiful Christmas Rose Set and the treat bag is showing the sentiment from the Christmas Door Set. Both projects were embellished with a Large Red Striped Ribbon, a matching Button some Silver Cord and some Silver Pearls. For my card I used the SU Top Note Die and some SU DP in the background. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R17, R27, YG11, G21, Y08 and Colorless Blender. At last I bedazzled the Christmas Rose with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

Please make sure to check out all the ideas the team had ~ SabrinaFrancie, LoriChrisSue and don't forget our Guest Designer Wanda Cullen.

FTTC149 Happiest of Holidays....

Howdy friends!

It's the busiest season of all....are you counting down the days till Christmas??? Did you get all your X-mas shopping done??? I'm almost done wrapping the last few presents. I'm soooooo looking forward to seeing my girls faces when they are opening their presents :) !!! Did you do any baking yet??? Yesterday, my sweet little Mimi and I felt like baking some yummy German *Vanillekipferl* and today we'll probably make a different batch of cookies.... can't wait to eat them!!! What is your favorite cookie recipe???

Well, if you have time this week how about joining us for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC149??? Beate is our hostess and has challenged us all to try *TELESCOPING* an image. Stamp your image two or three times and cut it smaller every time for a layered look. Here are a few samples over at the SCS Gallery or just swing by the FTTC Blog to see a new tutorial from Beate.

The beautiful image on my card is from the Winter Bouquet and the sentiment is from the Sentimental Christmas Set.  The bouquet image was inked in Memento Black and I colored it with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R17, R27, G21, G24, YG11, G94, YG67, B93, Y08, Y35, E27 and Colorless Blender. The DP is from some my SU leftovers stash and I embellished it with the yummy SU Chocolate Satin Ribbon, a Brown Button with a Gold CordGold Pearls and the Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

Please make sure to view all the beautiful samples the team has created ~ Cindy, Maki, Heather, Tammy, BeateMona and our December Guest Designer Theresa Pollack.

ODBDSLC89 The Joy....

Happy weekend!

Today is my sweet little Mimi's 7th Birthday. My baby is growing up sooooo fast. We are having her party at our local Clubhouse where we'll play some *glow in the dark* bowling....yeah. I know Mimi is very excited about her special day and to hang out with her friends!!!

If you have time this weekend ......we have another fun Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC89 going on....Use each letter of the word in *NOEL* to create your card. For example....

                                                     N - Nestabilities
O - Ovals, Our Daily Bread Designs, circles (shape)....
                                                     E - Embossing, Envelopes ....
                                                     L - Lace, Layers....
Here is my idea.....

N-New (flower) O-Our Daily Bread Designs and ovals, E- Embossing, and L-Lavender color

My card is featuring the beautiful Bible Verse I selected for the Collection 6 Set. I simply added the embossing with the SU Tulip Frame Folder, the Cotton Lace, the PTI Lavender Ribbon, Flower and a matching Button with Scrapper's Floss, and the Silver Pearls.

Hope you have a chance to join us??? Please make sure to check out all the different ideas the design team had SabrinaFrancie, LoriChrisSue and don't forget our December/January GuesWanda Cullen.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend......

DYSU50 Guest Designing...CHECK IT OUT!!!

Happy Thursday!

I'm excited to share my *Do You Stack Up?* Guest Designer creation today. The fabulous ladies from the DYSU Challenge blog have invited me to play along in this weeks theme *WINTER*.

Here is my take on it...

I used the beautiful Flourishes Set called Vintage Postcard. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored the image with these Copic Markers ~ B0000, BG000, B00, YG11, G21, G21, YG94, E27, R14, R17 and Colorless Blender. The sentiment was inked in SU Real Red. The DP in the background is from the BoBunny Snowfall Collection and I decided to add some *edge distressing* and  some *pierced*. Next I added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter, the Large Striped Black Ribbon with a matching Button & Silver String, and the Large Halfback Pearls. Hope you like it???

Now it's time for you to get crafty :) !!! Don't forget to swing by the DYSU Blog to view all the fabbo ideas the team had!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!!! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season,
