Curtain Call 67 Live simply..love much

Happy Sunday everyone!

How is your weekend going so far? We had the most gorgeous day yesterday...the temperatures climbed all the way up to 68 Fahrenheit and we just had to be outside!!! Sarah's team won the basketball game...yeah! Mimi and I had a fun time at the birthday party :) and  I did have a chance to create a new pendant with a matching ring...yeah! I'll be able to show it to you next week, when I get it back!

Anyway, onto my card...this one is for this weeks Curtain Call Act 67. Check out the color combo this week.....

I must admit the Almost Amethyst totally threw me off...LOL!!! But after trying a few different ideas I came up with this card.......

I finally had a chance to ink up some of my PTI images again...they have been poorly neglected. I combined the Falling Leaves Set with the flowers from the Merry Little Christmas Set and the sentiment is from the Little Bitty Bird Set. It's a pretty straight forward CAS design....hope you like it :) ???

Oh, before I forget...I replaced the Cajun Craze with Really Rust. The matching Stitched Ribbon is also from PTI and it's from the Terracotta Tile Collection and so are the Buttons!

I've been asked several times on how I created my bows....I'm using a Bow Easy.....a must have!!! Next I was asked how I *curl* my Scrap Floss...I'm using my SU Piercing Tool and basically just twist the Floss tightly around the long front needle until I'm at the end of my Floss. I pull the curled Floss off very gently so it stays nice and neat...voila! Try it and let me know how you like it :) ?!? ODBDSLC46, C4C72 Faith...and more!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hope you all get to enjoy your weekend to the fullest!!! Our girls are playing in some basketball tournaments this morning and in the afternoon Mimi is invited to one of her girlfriends birthday parties! It's at our local pottery place and I'm actually very excited we are going there, because the last time we went I made some earrings and a ring...you can see the pictures HERE. Can't wait to work on something new!!!

I'm also excited to share my newest card I made for this weeks ODBDSLC46 and the C4C72. The ODBD theme is to *USE BLUE* on your creation, not just a little...as your main color!!! The C4C theme for this week is to create a project using *Vintage or Shabby Chic* elements. As always swing by the challenge blogs and read the requirements on how to play along!!!

The Psalm I used is from the ODBD Faith Set. I created a long card today...the measurements are 3 1/2" x 6". My card base is Vanilla and I added a punched out decorative Marina Mist border on top....I actually used two individual Vanilla CS and added the Marina Mist CS in the center. If you want a really good 2-side gluing tape then check out the awesome Scor-Tapes...got to love that stuff...LOL!!! They come in different sizes and I also like that!!!

Anyway, the DP in the BG is from the older SU Bella Blue Collection I adhered it to the Marina Mist CS. I also distressed the edges and added the matching Marina Mist Satin Ribbon. The Psalm was placed on a Beaded Oval Nestabilitie. Did I mention I'm the proud owner of the new Grand Callibur??? Love that machine!!!! Next I embellished the card with some Silver Pearls, some Rhinestone Flourishes, a Silver Button with some Scrap Floss, some matching Roses I received from my ODBD sister Sabrina and of course the punched out butterfly!

It's been a super busy week....and as always I'm looking forward to my weekend!!! Gosh, time seem to just run away from me these past few month and I can't hardly believe we are stiring towards February...yikes!!!

Nevertheless, I squeezed in some stampin' time and created this sweet card. I was inspired by this weeks Just Add Ink #53 which was an Inspiration Challenge and here is the picture to it.....

Here is my take on it.....

My Guest Designer gig with Meljen's Digi Design is coming to an end and I just wanted to tell Melissa and Nicole how much I enjoyed coloring up these fabbo digi images they so kindly let me choose!!! *Thank you* for inviting me to play along with you all!!!

So, my last card is showing this super cute flower image called Tulip Buggies. The name alone made me giggle...LOL!!! After printing the image out I started coloring it with Copic Markers and embellished the card with Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon and a matching Button, Scrap Floss and  lots and lots of Silver Pearls.

FTTC102 Feel Better Soon.....and more!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend??? I really enjoyed my Sunday....I had a chance to sleep in just a little bit longer. My hubby took our two older daughters to church and I got to hang out with my sweet little Mimi....she is the BEST snuggler and we had so much fun :) watching Disney Channel...yeah!!!   

Anyway, today we are having a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC102 for you!!! Cindy is our host and she is challenging us to add some *HARDWARE* to our creations!!! For my card I added a SU Silver Ribbon Slider and some Silver Brads. I have tons of hardware leftover...I'm so glad I finally have a chance to use some..yeah!!!

The image is from the beautiful Cherry Blossoms Set and the sentiment is from the Apple of my Eye Set. I started out with some White CS and embellished the background with some DP from the SU Blushing Bride Print Collection. The long strip is Kraft CS and I added some PTI Plum Pudding Ribbon on top. At last I added my hardware and some Glitter.

My color inspiration is from this weeks CR84FN12 and the layout is from this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch #101 (as you can tell I flipped the layout sideways).

ODBDSLC45 It's a Sketch!!

My second card today is for the ODBDSLC45. Chris created this beautiful Sketch for us to try!!!

Here is my idea....

My color inspiration for this card came from this weeks Shabby Tea Room #45.

My card today is pretty straight forward....I used the beautiful Fleur de Lis Border Set and the Psalm is from the Path of Life Set. The beautiful Design Paper is from the Webster Collection. I dressed the card up with some Brown Pearls, some Laced Ribbon, some fun Brown Checker Ribbon and an Antique Brad.

C4C71, CTD125 I Love You....and more!

Aloha friends!!!

What a week it has been....I wish I could say I'm glad it is weekend, but unfortunately mine is cut short...I have to work today!!! We are hosting a conference....wanna check it out??? Your can read all about it right HERE. Hope everything will run smooth :) we have over 400 people coming?!?

Anyway, I know you are not here to chat about my work...how about a card??? Maria is still our host over at the Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C71!!! She has created this Sketch for us to try and I hope you have a chance to play along ?!?

Here is my take on it.....

Can you tell I tweaked the Sketch a bit??? I created a regular size card instead of the square size!!! The super sweet birdie image is from the Meljen's digi design and it's called Love Birds....perfect for two *love birds*...LOL!!! I think I'll give this card to my hubby for Valentine :) !!!

The colors were inspired by this weeks CTD125 ~ Pear Pizzazz, Kraft and Blushing Bride.

The image was colored with Copic Markers ~ C0, C1, C2, E00, E55, YG67, YG91, RV23, R000 and Colorless Blender. I found this sweet Heart Doily at Walmart...it came with some bigger white ones..... definitely a must have :) !!! The DP is from an older SU leftover stash and the rest of the card was embellished with some Ribbon, Heart Trinkets, Silver Pearls, a punched out Heart Border. At last I added some piercing...voila!

Here is my big and tall card.......

I used the beautiful Apple of My Eye Set. The colors were inspired by this weeks CR84FN11.

Making a large card like this wasn't as easy as I thought...LOL...but to the rescue came this beautiful apple image. The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with various Copic Markers ~ R0000, R000, R00, R14, R17, R27, YG11, G24, G0000, Y15, E27 and Colorless Blender. The DP is from an older SU Collection and I added a punched out Flower Border (Martha Stewart). The yummy Chocolate Satin Ribbon is also from an older SU stash. At last I finished the card off with some Silver Pearls, a Silver Button and some Brown Scrap Floss.
