Super long time since I've blogged here.....

As I mentioned in my last post I created a new jewellery blog, which I use to show case my work and the work of others.  I'm now learning more and more about selling online and I guess the next step is to do fairs, so we'll see how that goes.  I've now got packaging that I'm happy with and even had my first batch of mini moo cards printed.  One of my recent highlights has been having mirrors printed with one of my designs, so now I look forward to doing more of that!

As for the Kids, they are getting bigger and more grown up, its funny looking at the pictures on this blog of them!

Well keep well and do have a look at my new blog if you have the time =)

What a Gray Morning!..............

Time to get out some gems and crystals! I have plans to make something golden today and look out all my Rubies, Rose Quartz and Mystic pink Quartz as well as some other beauties I have that are perfect for making Valentines themed jewellery.

Hope it brightens up so I can take some more pictures today =)

Here's a pic of a Mosaic necklace I made using January and February birthstones, garnet and amethyst.....

New listings and Shop Sale.....

I've been busy listing some jewellery in my Etsy shop and have a 15% sale on everything until the 23rd of January, when you use the coupon newyear2012 =)

I'll be listing more items soon, once I've taken more pictures.

Another fun thing that I've been doing on Etsy is making Treasuries. There are so many gorgeous things to look at and buy on etsy.......

Here are a couple that I've made =)
An Eternity of love
Winter Wonderland

Happy New Year All!

Wishing everyone all the best in the year to come. I've been super busy trying to take pictures of the jewellery I make and getting ready for the year to come. I've been looking into packaging, suppliers of wire and gems and just reviewing the whole Jewellery thing in general. I'd also love to join a jewellery challenge group just for fun.

So my new years resolution is to be as active as possible with my jewellery crafting.

White Jade and fire opals.....

These ear-rings were given to one of my eldest son's lovely teachers, when he was at secondary school. I used a combination of white jade, fire opals, rock crystal, opalite, moonstone, Swarovski crystals and Thai Karen silver in making these earring.

Madame Butterfly.......

This is one of my favorite bracelets. After buying the geisha style lamp work beads, I actually dreamed up and then found all the different beads, to put this bracelet together. It's got a solid weight to it and I wear it lose (I don't like wearing tight things on my wrists) and it has a nice jangle as well =)

Vesuvianite and Silverblossom

I'm on a roll with the pics, although I need to take some of my more recent work. I love these blossom pendants and apart from being beautifully handmade, they are fair trade =)

Flower Jasper and butterflies........

Here's a necklace that I made using a large Flower Jasper pendant and Thai Karen silver butterflies.

Russian Amazonite.......

These lovely beads are made from Russian Amazonite and are such a lovely rich shade of green....
Amazonite is one of my favorite stones for everyday wear and I often mix it with other stones....

A gift for a teacher.....

I made this bracelet for my sons teacher at the end of the summer term as I knew that she liked jewellery =)

I made a similar one for myself a few years back using gold vermeil, which also worked really well with these yummy green stones......

Pearls glorious pearls........

These ear-rings are a really simple way to add some colour to a cloudy day. I have many different coloured ear-rings to chose from, one of the benifits of making jewellery =)

I really do love pearls and the above ones are freashwater pearls, as i never use fake pearls.

Juicy Rubies.....

I used a mixture of rubies, garnet and Swarovski crystals to make these juicy earrings, still think i need to take a better picture tho.....

Mystic Blues.....the story continues..hehe

Well here's the necklace to go with the ear-rings, more picture to come.........

A ruby for your thoughts......

I just love rubies! I've just recently bought some beautiful rubies and can't wait to find the right design for them.....until then here's something i made earlier.

A couple of pics.......

Here are a couple a of earrings I made a little while back =)

Need to try and take some more pictures and get to making some more jewellery. I had a week of making bracelets last week, think I made 7, which i guess is not bad for a mum of 7 =)

Super long time no blog.......

Who ever said that moving could be one of the most stressful things in life, knew what they were talking about!!!!!

It's been 2 years since moving into this house that's now our home and hopefully all that needs fixing will be put to rights soon enough, I'm hoping/praying :)

It feels like it's time to reclaim my goals and be productive, so those will be my new year's resolutions.

There have been some hard times this year, losing a loved one to cancer and there have been joyous moments, a new son and a wonderful new sister in-law.

So with that being said i send seasonal greetings to all who happen to find them selves on my blog :)
