I purchased this pattern from ebay a few weeks ago and finally had an opportunity to make it. My youngest daughter is a huge Beatles fan so I had to add this to my pattern stash so that she could receive the first one. Needless to say she fell in love with it.

I saw this wonderful idea on the Cricut MB last month and finally remembered to buy the stuff to try it out for myself. Boy was this fun to do and so very easy. And to complete the gift giving I decided to make a card to go with the little pea pod - also easy to do.
The only cartridge used for this card was New Arrival. I cut the pea pod and the baby face at 4" and the words Sweet Pea were cut at 1".

This week's Cricut Cardz Challenge was to use a cup from any cartridge we desired so I chose to use the cup from Christmas Cheer. As I thought about that cup of coffee or hot chocolate I wondered what I should do to go with it.
Then I thought about doing devotions while having that cup of coffee so I used the cut from Graphically Speaking to create an open Bible. After laying the cuts out for my card I felt like something was missing and immediately thought about the daily devotional that our church has sitting in the foyer called Daily Bread and so I used the bread cut from the From My Kitchen Cartridge to complete my card.
The inside sentiment says, "I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. Psalms 77:12"

This is just one of a couple of centerpieces that I'm putting together for an upcoming craft sale this April. I used to make these years ago and then just recently came across the pattern again. I had forgotten how easy these were to put together....

This week's Cricut Cardz Challenge was to create a masculine card for Valentine's Day using any colors and cartridges we desired. For my entry I chose to make a card that would be given to a man rather than from a man. And while it's not very manly looking it does have the frog that you've got kiss in order to find your prince.
So for this card I used:
Sweethearts for the tree (I also embossed the trunk), the frog and the small hearts
Simply Charmed for the heart with a smiley face

So here's another plastic canvas project that I completed this past weekend. I had a hard time finding the witch doll but luckily someone had a couple of them mixed in with some others on ebay. And since I scored two of the dolls I had to make two of the covers. (I'm still working on the other one)
Be sure to check back tomorrow when I unveil my card for this week's Cricut Cardz Challenge. What will the theme be? Here's your hint: love is in the air.............
