Thursdays over at Catch the Bug are Oldie but Goodies days. I really enjoy using older Bugaboo images and breathing new life into them!! Like this one, Daffodil Can. It's cut out with my Scan N Cut, colored with copic markers, then the flowers are sparkled up with the wink of stella pen. Christ is Risen

A little Thursday inspiration coming your way using the lovely Lamb With Cross image from Imagine That Digistamp. Bunny Rabbit

 Yes, you're seeing this correctly, I decided to play along with the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 team for this fabulous sketch and their wonderful sponsor.

Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor of this challenge (it runs for 2 weeks) so how could I resist?!!! Bugaboo is in the process of moving her shop so it's down at this moment. But be on the lookout for when it opens!

Here's my card, using the adorable Rabbit Eggs from Bugaboo. I so love the expression on this bunny's face. He is cut out using my Scan N Cut too. Now I hope you can find some time to play along with the sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here's my card, using the fabulous Beautiful Butterflies card kit from My Favorite Things. I can't believe this kit hasn't sold out yet!! I love it!! Now I do have to ask myself one thing, why did you make this card when you're so tired? I totally forgot to lightly stencil in my background as I had planned!!! Lesson learned. I wish you could see in the photo the great sparkle on each butterfly thanks to my wink of stella pen. Maybe, just maybe, I'll remake it the right way!! Good Luck Sweetie

Welcome to the latest CAS challenge at The Outlawz. I am the hostess this week and the theme is birds. I have several bird feeders hanging from my deck so the deer stay out of 'em!! Problem is I have raccoons who climb up onto the deck, muddy paws and all, to take and destroy those feeders!! I end up bringing them inside every night. But I'll do it for my beautiful feathered friends!! I ended up using the adorable stamp of the month at From the Heart called Lucky Lil Birdie. After all, who can resist such sweetness!! I also followed the sketch over at From the Heart this week as well. Now I hope you can join us for some feathery CAS fun at The Outlawz.
   

Color Challenge

This week's challenge at Catch the Bug is a color challenge. Looks like the rainbow, doesn't it! 

Here's my card, using a retired clown image from Bugaboo. A happy and bright birthday card for sure! The only color I didn't include was the purple, but no real surprise there as it's not a favorite of mine!!! Can't wait to see your colorful creations for our challenge this week at Catch the Bug.
 

A Walk Down Memory Lane

 

Imagine That Digistamp is celebrating its 4th birthday...Happy Birthday!!!!! We're taking a walk down memory lane at the Creative Playground. I became a full time DT member in August of 2015 after two rounds of summer guest designing. This is my first official card, using the sweet Ice Cream Boy and Ice Cream Sentiments sets. 

We were then challenged to create a card using our favorite Imagine That Digistamp set. Let me tell you, that was a challenge, narrowing it down to just one!!! I went with one of my top 3 (sticking with the ice cream theme!!!) Ice Cream Parlour and Ice Cream Sentiments. As you know, I LOVE pre-colored digis and this one is fabulous!! I'm really drawn to a color palette of black/white plus one other color too.

Just Because

It's time for a new challenge at Catch the Bug, and this week we're playing Bingo!! Fun, fun, fun!! 

I went with the third row down - Bugaboo image (Kitty Tower Fun), Flower and Stripes. I let the image and papers help me out with the flowers and stripes. A fun card to mail, just because. Now I hope you can join us for some Bingo fun at Catch the Bug.

Dachshund Party

Today is Inspiration Thursday at the Creative Playground. No matter how hard I try, I always seem to miss someone's birthday, so this cutie from the Dachshund Party set by Imagine That Digistamp is perfect! Hello and Happy National Pie Day. Okay, okay, I know I'm a day late, but shouldn't we celebrate pie everyday?!!! It's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch the Bug and I couldn't resist using Gertrude Eat More Pie from Bugaboo. Here's our latest sketch for you to try at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. 

And here's my card, one that I'm not overly thrilled with. It's amazing how a little additional stress in your life can affect your creativity!!! The stamp and die sets (Bring on the Cake, Birthday Journal Card Die, and HB2U) I used are by Sugar Pea Designs and can be found at the Catherine Pooler store. I used inks by Catherine Pooler also...and they are amazing!!!!! The background die is the Peek-a-Boo Polka Dots by My Favorite Things.
