Today I am on the letter L in my alphabet series. I used Lunar Paste to make the background. I heated a foam block by Simon Hurley and pressed the block onto a flourish background stamp. I then used a gold Lunar Paste to sponge across the block and stamped the block onto card stock. After the paste dried, I sponged Distress Speckled Egg ink over the paste background. The paste acted as a resist and the gold sparkle showed through.

Ink Lift
Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you are enjoying your day. I have been crafting today and I want to show you the card I made. I ink blended the background on watercolor paper using Distress inks and blending brushes. Next I spritzed the flower with water and stamped it onto the blended background and blotted the print with a paper towel. I did this several times over the background. I stamped the bird at the bottom and added the saying. I used a white gel pen to add dots for interest and for the bird's eye.

K is for Kissing
Hi and welcome to my blog. I am on the letter K in my alphabet series. I used the kissing technique on this card today. I stamped the cats using Mustard Seed Oxide ink and then used a dotted background stamp to "kiss" or stamp on top of the cats using Candy Apple Oxide ink. I then stamped the cats onto my card stock. This is a fun and easy way to add texture to an image.
