Hey all and a warm welcome to you guys who are new in here!
We were thinking that in order to avoid repeating ourselves when explaining what Donkey Barrel Gaming is and answering questions we decided to create this F.A.Q topic for you guys.
We love answering your questions and help you out best we can but we think this will save a lot of time as well and also help those of you who are a little shy to make contact with us.

So basically we'll be editing this post if anything new comes up that we feel will make a good addition in here. Also you guys are more than welcome to comment on this topic with any question you might have regarding the group and we'll answer.

-What is Donkey Barrel Gaming?

A: Donkey Barrel Gaming is a community founded to act as a natural meeting point for gamers to find like-minded people to play, chat or exchange experiences with.
The Group is directed towards both new and experienced users alike. The officers have all been greeted with a friendly environment on steam and a great attitude when first started to use the platform, thus we felt that we wanted to give the same greeting back to others.
Donkey Barrel Gaming is not about a certain type of game but instead it is about gaming as a whole where people hopefully can find new partners in crime for future endeavours or just a good friend to chat with.
We always aim to help our members get a good and friendly experience in a secure environment and welcome all to join us as long as you treat others in an appropriate manner.

-PotW, what is it and how can I be elected?

A: PotW or the player of the week awards is a weekly title the officers elect every Sunday which reflects on group activity during the week gone by.
This title is mainly given to a member who has shown activity in the group, either in the discussion forums, group chat, visiting our stream and teamspeak or by helping out in one way or another. It should be mentioned that The PotW may be given to a member who has done something out of the ordinary from time to time however this is on rare occasions.
As the PotW, one member get's the prestigious title of Player of the week, an honorary spot above the officers on our main page and is usually also given some sort of award for his or her activity. This reward can be either a copy of a game, a granted wish (something from their wishlist), trading cards or other items.

-Can I invite friends to join Donkey Barrel Gaming?

A: Of course you can! Donkey Barrel Gaming is open for everyone who's friendly and wants to meet other friendly gamers in order to create a great atmosphere in here. As long as they follow these set of lines everyone are welcome! Just go to our mainpage, Look in the upper right corner, press invite friends. and check the boxes of your friends you think will fit in here with us.
Hope to see many new faces in here as we always want to see friendly people!

-How do I participate in Give Aways?

A: usually we put our give aways in the announcements section. In the announcement we ask the ones who wants to participate to comment on it below. usually with some sort of instructions written in the announcements. We do post events about our give aways however these are merely reminders and comments on the events will unfortunately not count towards the give away.
So if you want to participate in any give away or competition just read the announcements and follow the instructions in there. the announcements section is located in the top of our main page. just click announcements and then click the announcement you want to read.

-What is the Donkey Barrel Stream?

A: The Donkey Barrel Stream is a project started up in the group in order to provide our members with yet further diversity in enjoying different games. The stream will take our members and viewers thru a variety of games in hope that it will bring entertainment and perhaps a suggestion of a new game to get your hands on. The group will post events when it goes live and you can find a direct link to it in our websites section located to the right of the main page here. So if you like watching games be played and hanging out with awesome people, then go to the link and give it a follow! We'd enjoy it dearly to see as many of you as possible supporting us there!

-Is there a teamspeak server for the group members?

A: Indeed there is my friends! As a member here you will get a membertag in the teamspeak and be able to move around and use the different rooms. Currently we have a couple of gaming rooms, a chill room, a meet and greet and a few others at your disposal. As a guest without a membertag you are of course welcome in there as well, however in order to move around you'll have to ask a founder or mod to move you to a specific room. So if you are interested in using teamspeak and come join us there, then ask a founder or mod for the IP and talk to a founder for member rights.


-Do you have any Group game events?

A: Yes, this is something we've just started to implement in the group. We arrange group game days with different games a little now and then and invite our members to come join us. When we decide to have such an event we post it in the events section and if you want to participate just comment on that event and remember the date and time!

-Can I make suggestions on events/improvements/give aways?

A: Indeed you can! all suggestions are welcome! Simply go to our discussions forum and click the sub-forum Suggestion box, create a new topic and write your suggestion in there. we can't promise that it will be managable but we will take it in consideration and sure try to make it happen.

-What kind of cookies do you have?
