Hello,
I love the Easter hols, gives me guilt-free time to have a crafty play! Here I used Amsterdam acrylic paints to make a gel print background. I stamped various patterns over the print (mostly Kate Crane's designs with both Stampotique and Carabelle Studio) and added Kate's sweet Lolly Dolly.

Kate Crane's Lolly Dolly!
Hello crafty peeps!
I've had fun today using one of Kate Crane's lovely, Lolly Dolly stamps, produced by Carabelle Studio. I made a bright, gelli plate background using acrylic paints and mounted the circle onto a black and white background stamped with Archival ink. Hope you like it! :)

Visible Image and Carabelle Studio
Hello crafty peeps!
I haven't posted for a loooong time, but a little mojo came my way the other day...
I made this card with one of Visible Image's new stamp sets, Creative Chaos, along with the Carabelle Studio stitching stamp along the bottom. The blue is a sprinkling of blue Bister powder, absolutely my favourite!

Playing with Distress Oxides...
Hello crafty peeps!
I've had these Distress Oxides for a while now, but as I've been so busy with my Open University study, I haven't had much of a chance to play with them! I finished an essay today so I treated myself to a crafty play....
I used one of the techniques that 'Sir Tim' recommends - that of squidging the ink onto a craft mat, spraying with a little water and then placing the card onto the puddle... et voila! These fab inks allow you to layer up the inks and keep the colours (more or less!) as they should be, rather than making a muddy brown mess. :-)
I hope you've all enjoyed a Happy Easter, and maybe had some crafty time too! Thanks for visiting x

Stampotique - Kate Crane's Sailboat
Hello crafters!
Picked up this lovely Stampotique stamp today from The Artistic Stamper, it's so cute!
I made a watercolour background with Tombow pens and spritzed water, cut it with a stitched square die and mounted it onto the base card. I stamped the boat with Archival ink and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils. I used white liquid enamel to give the dots a bit of dimension and used foam pads to raise the boat up a little. Job done! X
