Thanks for Being You Blue Tulips ~ HSS487, FF0208, GDP544

Hello friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #487.  Our colors are Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie.  I'm also playing along with Festive Friday #208.  I used Blue, Green, Brown, and Pearls from the inspo list.  I also Cased Wendy's card for the Global Design Project challenge.  Since I was casing Wendy's card, I couldn't resist using the tulip bouquet from Mixed Florals.  I just love this set and will be using it for years to come.  Everything is watercolored to keep a softer, almost sepia-like look.

Here's a list of my supplies......
Stamps: Mixed Florals, Charming Day
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Versamark
Paper: Vanilla, Watercolor, Woodgrain Wonders DSP
Accessories: Gold & White ribbon, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Metallic Pearls, Linen Thread, Stitched So Sweetly dies, Black EP

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

A Friend Worth Celebrating! ~ HSS486, TGIFC572, TTYC290

Hello Friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #486.  I didn't really have any images that went along with the inspiration photos, so I chose to use a combination of the colors in the pictures.  I used Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight, and memento black.  I knew I wanted to incorporate the black and white gingham ribbon to mimic the checkered flags.
The brand new set called Boutique Blossoms is where all the flowers in my bouquet came from.  It's available to order soon!  I also used a great birthday set called Words and Wishes.  It has lots of nice sentiments.
I used the sketch from TGIF Challenges and also the inspiration promps from Tic Tac Toe Challenge of Floral/Foliage, Free, and Encouraging Sentiment

Here's a list of my supplies......
Stamps: Boutique Blossoms, Words and Wishes
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Gold Foil
Ink: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight, Memento Black, Daffodil Delight Blends
Accessories: Ornament Floral EF, Gold Cord, Gingham ribbon, Sparkle Dots, Boutique Blossoms dies

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Thanks for Being You Rainbow Birds ~ HSS485, FF0206, JAI782

Hello friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #485.  I'm throwing it back to this wonderful stamp set called Free As A Bird.  I thought the long branch with the birds on it would work nicely with the sketch.  I'm also playing along with Just Add Ink #782 and I chose to use Twine & Rhinestones (gems).  I also grabbed some inspiration from Festive Friday's National Unicorn Day challenge #206.  I used bright colors, watercolor, and sparkle gems.
For the watercolor, I used the no-line watercolor technique.  I painted with my aqua-painter and a plethora ink pads in colors of the rainbow.  Because all the color is concentrated in the center of the card, I added a bit of texture to the white background using my Tasteful Textiles EF for extra interest.
I also used my dark Cloud Cover Blend Marker to splatter some subtle specks on the main panel.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Free As A Bird
Ink: Pecan Pie, Smokey Slate, Basic Beige, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Azure Afternoon, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo, and Pool Party; Dark Cloud Cover blends
Paper: Shimmer White and White cardstock
Accessories: Stitched Sentiments die, Tinsel Gems in Lemon Lolly, and white twine

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
