So let's see what the Design Team have been making...

We are delighted to welcome Robbie to the team this week - we're looking forward to sharing her lovely makes with you all and hope you'll all follow her (and the rest of the team) on social for a follow back too! Welcome, Robbie!

Robbie - Hello everyone, I have my first project to share with you. I am sharing a Mother's Day card using several digital products from Polkadoodles. The paper in the Blooms butterfly bundle was a pretty teal plaid and perfect for a feminine card. I used some alcohol markers to color the flower spray from Blooms 1 Flower bundle. The Spring Flower Mothers Day Friends greetings sentiments bundle had a fancy script sentiment. To finish my card I created a triple loop bow using some polka dot organdy ribbon from my stash.

Maria - Mother’s Day has already passed here in England, but it’s still coming up in my home country Germany – and my mum’s birthday is just around the corner as well. She’s a florist, so naturally she loves flowers. She’s usually a big fan of pink, but I think these soft pastel tones will make her happy too. The flowers from the Chamomile Flower Dies Set are just so adorable, don’t you think?
I coloured them using brushing pencils, just like I did with the leaves. The background was also created with the help of the pencils and the wonderful Happy Celebrations Stencil.
I’ve become a big fan of the Sentiment Strip Pack and used another lovely phrase from it here. And of course, the obligatory polka dots had to make an appearance again – both on the flowers and in the background!
Materials I used:

Taty - Hello creatives, today I share my DT inspiration for the Mother's Day theme. I created a greeting card for my mom, using the pre-colored image Waffle Cream Frosting Cupcake. The card is layered with two-tone blue cardstock, blue paper and digital paper featuring cupcakes from the collection Coffee Tea and Cake. I glued the cupcake image thickly and added glitter to the cream and the glossy accent to the wafer and the little pink bow. To embellish, I added small hearts by die-cutting paper cutouts of the digital pattern from the same collection Coffee Tea and Cake. Thanks to the fabulous pre-colored Polkaddodles collection, creating cards is quick and fun.

Julie - This card came together easily using a classic layout that uses a 4 x 5 1/2 inch piece of Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper (embossed with any embossing folder you choose) layered on an A2 sized color cardstock panel. Adding a secondary 2 inch x 5 1/2 inch strip of similar pattern paper gives the eye more to see through a 3 1/2 inch circle of vellum. On top of the vellum is where this cute little digi Earlie Hedghog Dandelion was added using foam tape. Earlie was colored using a combination of Copic Markers - Brown E57, E55, E53, E51. Teal B15, B11, B10. Green YG63, YG61. Orange YR68, YR21,YR14. Pink R85, R81. The butterfly was from an additional Earlie image, colored and added with foam tape and just a touch of sparkle. A Just For You Sentiment works perfectly for Mother's Day greeting, and a few sequins in a coordinating color finish the card off.

So let's see what the Design Team have been making...

Renske - For this graduation card I created a fun interactive pocket slider design featuring the adorable Noodle Panda digital stamp. I coloured the panda with alcohol markers and built a soft blended background using Distress Ink for the sky and layered die cut grass for depth. The slider reveals a hidden sentiment, adding a playful surprise element to the card. I used patterned paper from the Gnome Men Celebrations collection together with sentiments from the Noodle Panda themed messages and Winnie Daisy Greetings set. This design is easy to adapt and works well for celebrating any graduation. Hope you like it. Happy Crafting. My Instagram: @renske.wishes.you

Liz - I love to create different pieces of art – card making, mixed media etc – so I thought it was time I did an art journal page.I got this gorgeous stamp set from Nikky called Every Wish Stamp Set – I love it!! The flower heads are separate along with a stem stamp, so you can use as many or as few as you wish.I stamped the main larger flower, then used a mask to cover this so I could add the stem to look like it came from under the flower head. I used a mask on the other side too for the added flower head, leaves and squiggle. My background is created using Gelatos, Distress Crayon and a little acrylic ink, simply smooshing the colours to blend a little. I then went over with the Bubbleicious stencil with Antique Linen Distress Ink for a little added feature to the overall design. The small circles are another two stamps from the same stamp set.I finished off with a sentiment strip stamp set, which I then cut down into smaller pieces. I coloured the flowers, leaves etc with my watercolour pencils in matching tones to tie it all in.

Enrica - Hi crafty friends! This week the DT was asked to make a graduation project using a given colour palette, and I decided on a slimline card using the Cute Girl in Gown Digital Stamp and Printable Clipart from the Graduation School Student release available at: https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/graduation-school-student/ I love this set – it is absolutely perfect for graduation cards and handmade gifts!

Jenn - The digi stamp I used for my graduation card is called Cute Girl in Gown Graduation School Student. I coloured her with Copics and fussy cut both her and her graduation cap, then attached them with foam dimensional tape. The papers are from the Graduation School Student paper pack. I used my paper punch on the lined paper to mimic paper being ripped from a notebook. I printed out the entire sheet of sentiments from the Graduation School Student Sentiments Quotes, then trimmed and attached the congratulations and so proud.I printed out the Graduation Day graphic from the same set and used a reverse scallop circle die to cut it out.

Revati - I’m sharing a new graduation project featuring the Cute Girl in Graduation Gown digi stamp. After printing the image on 80lb cardstock, I used my Brother ScanNCut for precision cutting before colouring with Ohuhu alcohol markers. To build the scene, I paired a brick-patterned background with a sentiment from the Graduation Word Art Sentiment set. Layering the coloured image over the sentiment strip added the perfect dimension to finish the card. For more details, please visit my blog.
