Miistakis's office is located in the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7, which includes the Niitsitapi (Siksika Nation, Piikani Nation, Kainai Nation, Aamskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut'ina Nation, the Îyârhe Stoney Nakoda (Bearspaw First Nation, Chiniki First Nation, Good Stoney First Nation) and the Calgary Elbow Métis Nation. Our conservation work today takes place on many different traditional Indigenous territories. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
