Happy Saturday! Sketch challenge week over at the CRAZIES....I know I am late posting my card....I am  enjoying Summer...we went boating a couple of times...just did some fun stuff and time got away on me again, lol.
This card is still drying as I type this up so that is why it is not adhered properly yet...

Art Impressions fun

Watercolouring fun on a Friday morning. The Art Impressions stamps are one of my (many) favourite stamps. This technique is so easy and very relaxing. I always wished I could draw better...really for the life of me, I never got any better than stick figures, lol. But with those stamps, you don't have to be good at that, it is super easy and so fun to do.
Last week we went to Mount Forest to pick up a ram for our sheep and we stopped at the scrapbook store in town...they had all the AI stamps in stock!!! So worth the long drive, we also had a lovely lunch at a Mennonite place, came home with a nice ram and some new stamps, everybody happy!

C4C443, heart shaped card

Happy Saturday! Today the challenge over at the CRAZIES is to  make a different shaped card, no rectangle, square or round....Well, a challenge is a challenge when you are challenged to think outside the box, lol.
My inspiration left me ....so I went for some pink, green and grey and some flowers....
A bit of wink of stella to bring on the bling and nuvo drops in the center of the flowers.

C4C441, eclipse technique!

Happy Saturday! Challenge time over at the CRAZIES. this time we are asked to do the Eclipse Technique. Lots of ideas on Pinterest.
You stamp  you image, then die cut a word or any other die over the stamped images and pop up what you have cut out.
I have to say, my card looks better IRL, maybe I should have inked the edges of the letters for the picture, but I did not lol.
Stamps are from Altenew, the word HELLO is cut with my cameo. I really wanted to do a big word but I have no big letter dies.....tempted to buy a set but I did not. I put my paper on my mat of the cameo. typed the word, put a box around it the size of your card or whatever size you like and cut, leave the letters in, stamp and then pop up the letters.
It worked just fine! Proud of myself for not buying more supplies, lol!

Sperwer card from Dora's Digi's!

Good morning! Today I am sharing my card with the digital sperwer stamp from DORA.
I am lucky to be on her design team, this is one of the new images this month.
The sperwer is coloured with Faber Castell's polychromos, the background is a 3D leaves embossing folder from Stampin Up, with a foam blender I put on some peeled paint ink from Tim Holtz.
The leaves are from a punch, sentiment from Hero Arts, Nuvo drops dark walnut, and the frame is from the Silhouette. All put together on a dark brown card base. Of course I had to add some wink of stella on the bird, but that is hard to see in the picture. The image was cut out after I was done colouring.

C4C440, ombre look

Happy Saturday! The challenge this week over at the CRAZIES, is to use the ombre look.
I choose some shades of pink and a red. After I blended my background, I spritzed it with water with some pearlex in it, this gave it not only a shimmer but also the water drops. Flower is heat embossed in white, Magenta flower, die cut for the word and the dragonflies are from a punch. I punched them from a sheet of acetate and coloured them alcohol ink.  Hope you like it!

Happy Saturday!
A messy blog post, and I don't know how to fix it, lol. It is sketch challenge over at the CRAZIES
For my card, the flowers were the messy, fun part. Watercolors, powders. bling, markers. glossy accents.....and then I kept the rest of the card pretty clean and white....you should see my fingers, lol.

C4C437, bare feet challenge!

Happy Saturday! A new month, new hostess and a new challenge over at the CRAZIES. This week the challenge is:
Apparently yesterday was "Go Barefoot Day" include something on your card that is barefoot.

I need a baby shower card next week so I am thinking cute baby feet!
They are embossed with pearl powder on tumbled glass distress ink. a stencil with the same in for the background. Hope you like it!

Dora's digi card...

Somehow I am not good at posting cards at the right time...this card is a digi stamp from Dora, I am happy to be in her design team. You can find the post HERE

I used polychromos to colour this image and the sentiment is from SU, butterfly from Martha Stewart.
The background is a 3d embossing folder from SU, called leaves.
Of course I added some bling by using stickles on the butterfly and wink of stella on the flower.

C4C436, Happy Graduation!

Happy Saturday! Another challenge over at the CRAZIES.
I choose to make a graduation card for our son, who graduates from the University of Western with a bachelor of Sciences. We are super proud of him. he also got a full time job as a mechatronics engineer!! The colour of Western is purple, so that is why I used that. Background is an eb from Darice, did not even know I had it, lol. Sentiment from Verve, the happy and the graduate are cut with my Cameo. Some twine, some viva purple dots and that is about it. Hope you like it!

Sketch challenge!

Happy 3rd Saturday of the month. Sketch challenge time over at the CRAZIES.
For this card I have used the set Do what you love from SU. butterflies from Cheery Lynn, some designer papers out of my never ending stash...
I coloured the flowers with a blending pen and around the circles I put some distress ink and some perfect pearls, it is nice and shiny IRL.

Hello Ladies,
Today the challenge over at the CRAZIES is to make a card inspired by the saying : Skating on thin ice.  I really had to think about it, almost did not get a card done but then my silhouette came to the rescue again and my big stash of paper....the shining silver paper is supposed to be ice, but I am sure you got that, lol.
The sentiment is from MFT, some stars from punches and a little circle punch to make a puck.
              I think this will be a great card for a birthday boy. Hope you like it, Anja

Dora's digi stamp card

The nice weather is finally here....so nice to be able to enjoy warmer temperatures!
Today I am sharing my card with a digi from DORA, you  can find all the details HERE
I coloured the image with polychromos pencils, and stamped a few dots around the image with antique linen distress ink. Sentiment is from Stampin Up, paper out of my huge stash!
The nice thing about digi stamp is that you can size them, print them as many times as you want and they do not take up room in your crafting space, lol.
Dora is super talented and I love being in her Design Team across the ocean!!

I struggled a bit with this one...finally I just started playing by picking my colours first and the rest came together.  Stamps and dies from Stampin Up, soft suede and pink pirouette, I love the colour combo.

Happy Saturday!! We are having crazy weather here in my part of the world, supposed to be an icestorm for the whole weekend....Reason more to play in my craft room, and today it is challenge day over at the CRAZIES.

Today it is all about coffee:

Perfect blend - Create a card with coffee for inspiration in the form of colors, stamps or dies.

I do not have any coffee stamps but I do have a cameo...so I cut this design and used it for my card, hope you like it!!

Happy Saturday! I have been MIA! Just having a lot of fun, no time to post. Today is challenge day over at the CRAZIES.
We are asked to create a stencil with a die or dies and use it on your card.

It's cutie patootie challenge for you today - make a card or scrapbook page that has a child theme! Blocks, playground- even a little red wagon if you wish!  Bonus points if you use baby or children stamps!
