Wedding Wishes - and 2 challenges

Hey, I'm back with my second post today :)
This card is going into to challenges.  Card Patterns Sketch #163 and The Shabby Tea Room week #111.

Here are the graphics provided by each of the challenges.

My card ~

The CP sketch was an easy and fun sketch to use!  The Shabby Tea Room asked us to use the colors in the photo and use lace OR ribbon plus use flowers.
I used most of the colors on my tag, along with a mat of pink under the main panel.  I used 3 ribbon flowers.   BUT...now that I look at my card...it's really looking more clean & simple, than "shabby".  Uh oh.  Well, it's too late to change it now, isn't it?  Ha!  Anyway, it was fun to create :)

Thanks for stopping in to see what I've created!  This card will be going into my Etsy shop also.

Supplies:
card stock: white stamper's select (PTI), blushing bride (SU)
ink: blushing bride, so saffron, certainly celery (SU)
stamps: garden variety, tiny tags II (PTI)
other: lattice impression plate (PTI), 5 petal flowers (Offray), white satin ribbon (Michaels), fused pearls (Wright's)

Happy Birthday - CR84FN Color Challenge

Hi, this is the first of 2 cards I'm posting today.  This birthday card is going into the CR84FN 53 Color Challenge.  Here's the inspiration graphic that's provided for us.  I'm usually not drawn to pink...but I really like this color combination!

For someone who's not a "pink girl" I used quite a bit of it on this card, didn't I?  I inked up a Cuttlebug embossing folder with some Stampin' Up! pink pirouette ink, then placed a panel of white card stock in it before embossing.  I like the letterpress look that it gives the panel!  That little crocheted flower is from SU also (discontinued), but I added a few faux stamens to the center before gluing it to the pieces of tulle.  I think the rest of the card is self explanatory, but I'll list my supplies below.
By the way...the next card I'll be posting has some pink in it, too.  I guess I'm hooked :)

Thanks so much for taking a look!  I'll be putting this card in my Etsy shop later today (there's a link in the upper sidebar of my blog.)  If you're reading this post from an email, you'll need to go to the bottom of the email to find the name of my blog.  Just click through...and there you are!

Supplies:
card stock: pool party, whisper white (Stampin' Up!)
ink: pink pirouette, early espresso (SU)
stamps: lovely leaves, communique curves (Papertrey Ink)
other: pink crocheted flower (SU), damask embossing folder (Cuttlebug), floral spray flower centers (Hirschberg), adhesive pearl flourish (Recollections from Michaels), pink tulle (from a stash I won on Vicki Chrisman's blog last year), scor-tape, glue dots

Brighter Days - CAS-ual Fridays Challenge

Hi there!  Just a very quick post this evening.  I usually don't have the time to stamp during the work week.  But, I wanted to make a card for one of my church friends who is quite ill.  I want her to know that she's in my thoughts and prayers, so I needed to make time for this card.

This card is going into the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, CFC49.

I love playing along with their challenges, but this weeks sketch had me stumped ALL weekend.  The idea for this card just popped into my head this evening, while I was thinking about my friend.  I'm thinking that I had a little help from above, so I'm not taking full credit for this card :)

My card ~

This card came together very quickly.  That is SO rare for me.  Trust me.  I stamped, then cut out the clouds.  Both are mounted on foam tape, but the smaller could has a double layer of tape.  The sun was cut out of yellow glitter paper with a Spellbinders pinking die and tucked behind the clouds.  Then a sentiment and a tiny hummingbird...and my card is complete.  I hope it brings a smile to my friend's face, at least for a while.

Thank you for taking a look!

Supplies:
