OUR INSTRUCTORS

Dr. Nadine Chahine

Nadine is an award-winning Lebanese type designer. She is CEO at I Love Typography Ltd and principal at ArabicType Ltd. She has an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, UK; a PhD from Leiden University; and a Master of Studies in International Relations from Cambridge University. She has numerous awards, including two Awards for Excellence in Type Design from the Type Directors Club in  New York.

Rainer Scheichelbauer

Rainer was born in Vienna and studied photography, philosophy, and Dutch. Today, he creates and produces typefaces, teaches type design, holds type design workshops, translates Dutch books on typography into German, and writes articles and Python scripts. Rainer joined the Glyphs team in 2012 and has been writing tutorials and the Glyphs app handbook. He is also a co-founder of Schriftlabor font foundry in Vienna.

Ulrike Rausch

In 2009, Berlin-based type designer and author Ulrike Rausch founded her typefoundry, LiebeFonts, providing high-quality typefaces with a charming personality & obsessive attention to detail. Her growing portfolio of handwriting fonts has been used in publications, advertisements, and websites all around the world. Besides type design, Ulrike enjoys teaching at art schools and giving type design workshops in her studio.
