Only just found out about the game being put on hiatus, it sucks because this is suck a good game, doubly so for me since this is now the second amazing AVN that I only recently discovered that's stopping development, there is hope that Atemsiel will eventually come back to Stormside and I hope that you do Atemsiel, I get why your taking a step back I understand and empathise with your plight to find motivation now that your passion feels more like work, taking a break will hopefully do you some good mentally, and as I've seen others mention, I wouldn't mind if Stormside became a more linear story without the branching paths that would certainly take a load of your back but would also change the game a lot from your original idea which would also suck, potentially working on only 1 branch at a time could help you get into a better headspace and workspace and allow the story to reach the end point (or one of them at least) which in turn might help with the other branches making them slightly less taxing ultimately more people helping you would be ideal but I guess that cant be helped right now, i would offer to help if I knew anything about Ren'py.
I do hope you don't completely end up abandoning or forgetting about Stormside, it is fantastic and if I remember rightly from the patreon post you did say you also like the characters you've made, I hate seeing a good game die so lets hope you can rekindle your passion for Stormside.

sadly he went way too branching. he needed more linear. it's too much work for one person and will take a giant toll on your mental health trying to keep track of everything. i wish he would just scrap the branches and bring them together and finish the story but he wants to write the other game so it's fine. that one is more linear and less taxing.

yeah, he's making a different game, i noticed while playing the game that it would actually be hard developing it considering that there is a lot of branching to the story as a gamedev myself i know how hard to make animations and write story telling. The dev mentioned it on his patreon aswell how it affected him. the branching story system is just way too complicated, it's like making a multiverse when you haven't even finished making one.
i hope he still finish the game even without the branching and just the original plot for the girls.
As someone who prefer to get all collection, this branching is too time consuming and need a lot of planning. Still enjoying the game tho.
So... I just finished the game and it offered to unlock all gallery in the end, very nice. You can just focus your own desired route and get everything unlocked in the end
doubt you ever look here anymore but just wanted to say i hope one day you return to this game its one of the best games on here even if it takes years to return to making please finish it take your time you are amazing

I have two main points to make about this game. Firstly, the horror aspects with Sasha are VERY unsettling. Very well done. And far more importantly, this is BY FAR the funniest erotic game I have ever played. All of the little animations and the sound design have made me full belly laugh several times and several other times have caused me pain trying to stop myself from making too much noise that my roommates try to investigate. FANTASTICALLY made.
I hope stormside continues eventually in the future. Maybe decrease the branching path since it is a little too much for one developer to handle. While it is amazing (probably the best branching mechanic I ever come across in AVN), it is unnecessary. I love this game for the story, and characters. Maybe Atem could decrease the branching paths, more linear storyline with only choices being what type of relationships you want with the girls. personally, I think the submissive route offer the best of both worlds and keep the game main identity intact with you being the magistrate. Slave route is the worse imo since you essentially disregard any relationship between characters.
I'm glad to see this project show signs of life again. I do hope the author continues the existing story, but narrow down the branching perhaps. It always seemed a bit too ambitious for one person, in my opinion. Having a choice with whom and what kind of relationship you wish to have, in addition to letting the player roleplay a bit, just enough to make us feel as if our choices matter, is already excellent. No need for four wildly different outcomes for every situation.
Before someone throws a molotov at me, I think Olivia might actually have a soft spot that we'll get to utilize and ultimately make her ours later on in the game. Just like Diana in the Lyanna series by DWR, I'd say. If my prediction is true, then I'd be one happy man
Everyone can join in on discord, donate if you wish, since Atem has had a harsh 2025 they can use all the support we can give. Whether you want to be a top tier member or just send some moneys their way; it will help in the long run for their well being.
As for the game, we need to be patient and give Atem time to recoup from everything they have gone through. In time, we may see more, but for all of us who appreciate the individual efforts made for this game, we must respect Atem's well-being and allow them the time they need.

Also, I was hoping to ask if you remember and older game from about a year ago. Where you were a demon king, but for each girl you corrupted, they turned into one of your succubus slaves. I remember it having a decent storyline, and I haven't seen it on itch.io since. If you know what it is, please tell me.
All the games I played around that time are mostly a blur but I might be able to find it in my old saves, do you know what it was called? Or maybe a couple words? Also, if you can't really remember that much the way to find all your saves for all Ren'py games is to go to "C:\Users\"yourwindowsusername"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy" in the files explorer, and you might be able to find it in there if the title isn't abbreviated or something like that, or it strikes a memory. If you're mobile, though, there isn't really a way to find all those save files unless you hook it up to a pc and go through a whole process to look at appdata I think.
