Danny Fenton was used to strange shit happening on a daily basis, hell even an hourly basis.

That tends to be the norm when you're a half ghost that's the son to two ghost hunters and live in a town that regularly gets attacked by ghosts.

Him basically being the superhero protector of the town was just another oddity he came to accept.

Still, he couldn't help but just be exasperatedly incredulous every time his parents revealed some new invention.

"See this Danny! It's the Fenton Mind Scrambler! With it we'll scramble the minds of ghosts and they'll never be able to resist or put up a fight with their minds so jumbled!" Jack Fenton, Danny's father, said rather loudly to the point he was almost shouting.

"Yes, we just have to be careful since we don't know if it affects humans yet." Madeline "Maddie" Fenton, Danny's mother, said cautiously as Jack put the device on, it being a simple wristband with a glass like jewel on the top of it.

"Well, we'll just find an ectoplasmic freak to test it on." He said as he held it up and aimed it at a test dummy, only for it to fizzle out and not do anything. "Oh, not again." Jack groaned as he kept tapping on it before he sighed and put it on the counter for now.

"I don't understand why the tech keeps acting up like this." Maddie said with a frown knowing that several of their inventions worked the first try while others seemed to work days or weeks later.

Danny said nothing as he went up to it and grabbed it, looking it over and already assuming it was one of the ones that he'd have to charge with his ecto-energy.

However, as he grabbed it, it activated and flashed him, leaving him in a daze.

"I still worry about the morality of using it, Jack." Maddie said, not even noticing what happened to Danny.

"Oh you worry to match, Maddie. Just forget about the morality of the scrambler and think of all we could do with it. We should use as it we want and enjoy it and all the perks we can have with it." Jack said as he smiled and looked over the designs, not knowing he triggered Danny.

Danny then blinked and looked at the device with a smirk before he turned to his parents. "Hey guys." Danny called making them turn before he used the scrambler on them. "You're going to forget all about the scrambler. It was just an idea that you threw out because of the risks. This device is mine and mine alone and it has no resemblance to what you thought the scrambler would be." He said before a thought occurred to him, "I have your complete trust, I'd never be up to anything bad or wrong and you know if I do something then I have a good reason for it." He added before he placed the device on his wrist and they shook their heads.

"Wh-what were we doing?" Maddie asked in confusion.

"You said something about those plans right there." Danny commented making them blink and look at their schematics before they frowned.

"Oh right, the scrambler." Jack said before he tore the schematics up before throwing them into a small incinerator they had. "That's that, can't believe we considered making something so risky." Jack said as Maddie nodded.

"It's all right, at least we didn't actually make it. Could you imagine the problems that could be caused with it?" Maddie asked as Danny headed upstairs.

"I don't know about problems, but I'm planning to have a lot of fun with this thing from now on." Danny said as he started imagining the possibilities.

The question was who should he start with?
