2025 is almost effing over!? It is crazy to think that the years just keep going on and on... Thankfully, this year has been much kinder to me in terms of anything bad happening. I needed the break after 3 and a half years of straight bullshit lololol
I've been doing my thing like I always have, and this year I'm finally seeing the fruits of my labor. Thank God! The money I've gotten from commissions and things like that have really helped me sustain myself and pay for my school, so thank you commissioners. A portion of my cash also goes into maintaining my website and the Tunaware website, which I admittedly haven't updated in a lil bit.... BUT I WILL SOON I SWEAR!
Music News
I got some new stuff coming out soon! The next thing that I release will be physical only because I'm just that tired of getting shafted by these streaming services. It's sort of a compilation but not at the same time. Its 2 of my most recent EPs + 4 unreleased/new songs, so the ratio is like 6:4 released to unreleased music. It was originally going to be just the 2 EPs, but I ultimately decided against it because I thought that would kind of ruin the point of releasing it physically because it was previously available digitally.
This year, I partnered with Sync or Stream to deliver an easier way to buy the licenses to my music. If you want to buy the licenses, you can head there right now!
I'm also pivoting to sites like Bandcamp more because I just make more off of 1 sale vs. 1,000 streams, so if you want to actually own the thing you're paying for, please consider buying stuff on Bandcamp. I also frequently put my stuff at discounts or generally low prices to keep things fair and affordable for everyone, so what are you waiting for!?
Other News
Game development is going pretty well on all ends. Elvins Insane Week is like, 20-25% of the way there. I've gotten some new people in the credits for this project as well! @SomeApe @Broly @PKToasty and @MuscleBro have contributed to this a ton, and the lead sprite artist @Roverkibb has been making some banger sprites and menus that will really make this game awesome.
Tunaware work has been happening! I don't have too much to say about it that @Prosciuttoman hasn't already said. The same goes for Giggle Force work, as I'm currently trying to find time to work on it amidst the holiday chaos, so if you haven't seen his post already, go check it out.
Life News
I'm really starting to pivot away from streaming services and shit like that in general for a number of reasons, but the main one is that they're allowed to increase prices and offer less stuff with no repercussions (Spotify). I stopped using Spotify this year, and I switched to Apple Music until I can get every album that I like physically or digitally. I'd say that I'm about 70% of the way there at this point, and I recently set up a home media server so that I can pirate stuff and watch it on the TV. I'm really only paying for my Apple Music + Roland Plugins at this point, and I'm hoping that I can cut out Apple Music entirely by the end of next year.
