Select automatic payment method

When you go to the checkout page, a payment method is automatically selected. How can I set it up so that none is selected? Or, failing that, how can I put text immediately above it that says ‘Select your payment method’?
The checkout page is configured with the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout].
The current version of my website is:
WordPress: 6.5.3
WooCommerce: 9.4.1
Theme: WoodMart version 7.5.1
