Have I done something wrong? Am I doing something wrong? I'm asking and wondering because despite having done all I can to pursue [A] and I'm at Chapter 12 now, I can only pick between Blane and Rylan and [K]. I can't for the life of me find anyone else mentioning this or maybe I'm just blind, but I'm frightened at continuing now.
Nope. there's only 2 routes in chapter 12 - one with Blane if you take the knife for them (i think I don't really remember) and second where Rylan and K come to your apartment. So no you aren't doing anything wrong
having played both routes, I'm pretty sure the reason there's only those two routes is bc they're more plot-related than relationship-related. (that's the least spoilery I can get about it ^^; )
Lina's reply is correct! You can also get Blane's branch if you've been kind to them in the past.
As friendlymosquito puts it, I don't really call Chapter 12 "routes" since the two branches are used as a way to move the plot forward, rather than get close to the ROs.
First and foremost, I adore how this entire story is making me relive the joy I've experienced while playing White Wolf's Hunter TTRPG. Of course, I know this IF is entirely a story on its own and I truly love it for that. This theme and genre is just something that I've always been a massive fan of.
I have legitimately sat here for hours just playing through it without breaks and it has been such a wonderful ride! You've created so many interesting characters from both the wonderful protagonist and the chaotic yet loveable deuteragonists. Even the NPCs are so fascinating. The tense atmosphere I felt meeting with the important ones and then the frustrating chat with some of the others. So good! It made me feel all the emotions from awe to anxiety and uncertainty to just plain love and frustrations. Also, I'm a big lesbean so of course at least TWO of your wonderful NPCs are just me going all, "Women. Doki. Step on me."
All the RO are so fascinating too and I honestly wish I can romance at least maybe 2 people at the same time w/ a polycule since a certain duo feels too closely connected not to. I do plan on going through their stories on their own because they're just so interesting. But, as of right now, I am trying to balance between gaining K's friendship and throwing in those romance options whenever I can haha. I'm a sucker for those two and their personalities.
Also, I am sorry to hear about the slump and the struggles with the outlines. I'm more of an artist than a writer myself but I can't imagine the struggles of having to deal with that. I do hope that some spark will come back and things will slot easily into place once more for you.
I'm new here and you've definitely acquired a big fan in me! I wish nothing but to support you in your writing endeavors! This IF has completely skyrocketed high up in my fave list! I love it so much and I cannot wait to read more of your wonderful story!

Even though my official account is new, I've been an Itch lurker for years- This still is and always has been one of my favorite projects on here tbh. The details, the characters, the worldbuilding, everything's just so perfect! I'm loving the slow mental decline of the Hunter, too. Hey! I'm so sorry this is happening to you; I know it can be extremely frustrating. I've tried troubleshooting people's browsers multiple times but aside from not clearing your cache and cookies, it can be hard to find a permanent solution.
If you're able to play on desktop instead, I'd recommend downloading the game from the host website. In my experience, this method guarantees the highest chances of saving your game.
This happens to me every so often (bc I keep clearing my browser cache lol) and when it does I'm just like, ~oh noooo I have to play the whole game over again? What a traaaagedy~ ;3
oh my gosh. This has to be the best story and game I’ve EVER played/read. It’s become my biggest inspiration to get better at writing so I can one day write like this. Like, 60% of the time was spent giggling over Arion, and 40% screaming and foaming at the mouth from how good the writing is. ✨ Peak story ✨ 100000/10. A wonderful, well-written and very expansive game! The characters all feel believable and unique, and I adore each and every one of my allies.
Definitely gonna be eagerly awaiting more of this IF, and personally I am hoping for a poly route with Rylan and A (Because lets be honest, it's the best meet-cute in existence and they both deserve happiness)
Well, great news for you, that is in the works! Unfortunately, it will be a very long time before I implement that route, but it is absolutely one that I am planning on. I also think it's a wonderful pairing :)
This was really well made. I enjoyed the general tone of the story and how the options of responses are diverse and interesting. This reminds me of Shadowhunters (but I just might be a sucker for vampires and werewolf stories)
TBH i had the same theory when i first played it and the conversation with Ciel did kinda hint at it. (Tho i also this he could be the one doing all that stuff, what was at the start with the werewolf and all but idk could be someone else)
My friend played this game and then got me hooked on it too so she would have someone to talk about it with. This is so amazing, not even a week after playing I've replayed three times and counting., have made so much lore for my character, started writing a fanfic, and made a stupid amount of fanart. please never quit what you do, this is incredible. cant express how much i LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE this game hehehe
the only thing i dont like abt this is the options in chapter 5 when K calls you out for staring at them cause regardless of their attitude its still uncomfortable to have some1 stare at you like that like nooo bbg im sorry for being creepy im not a pervert i swear /hj

You can download it from the host website, Itch.io if you have the desktop application. On mobile, you can only play on web browser :)
