my favorite game so far...including my own unfortunately!
Id honestly like to see this as a real game.
notes:
some sort of indication of win/lose condition or big combo bar would be nice.
id like to try a mode where the left hand and side of the screen is WASD and the right was arrow keys!
try ours if you get a chance please
good job.
my main note would be:
the visuals sort of bled together sometimes and felt noisy. i think you were going for a psyco-thriller type vibe( maybe silent hellish) , but at some points the game play felt negatively impacted by the screen readability.
good job though...ESPECIALLY for one person.
(p.s. sorry i said id rate you yesterday in my own comment area, but ended up busy, just got around to having time)
good job! One of the best theme uses i have seen so far.
this is not my normal type of game, but my wife is into phasmaphobia and she would enjoy this quite a bit. overall a very good jam game.
maybe would have been nice to have like one more tv. somewhere in the house. i got killed walking into my own tv room. not sure i could have avoided that.
If you would not mind please give our game a try and a rating.
good escape room game, tied into the theme great job you guys!
I have a VERY SMALL suggestion for improvement: i felt myself constantly wanting to have a button to tune the radio right and a separate for left( as opposed to one interact i had to move my view to interact with the other). i think thats because if i was touching a dial in real life, i wouldn't expect to move my sight to rotate it in the other direction. maybe interact to open the radio control. then left and right arrows or A and D to tune right to left would help?
if you get a chance please review our game.
Im a big turn based fan and my main project is one. so this was nice for me. i wish there had been some more ability options cause it got really redundant quick, but its a game jam so there is only so much you can have time for.
overall good job. music was super fun and i liked the unique feeling art. it had a lot of character
if you get a chance please rate our submission :)
controls worked fine and the ambient music was good. i wish there had been even a little bit of lighting or contrast or texture somewhere, but to be fair this is NOT a genre i enjoy playing so i dont really have a frame of reference for acceptable levels of "indiscernibility" as i am sure that is also sort of part of the point. I was also not sure of the tie in top the TV theme, but i also found iit hard to come up with a good tie in for ours.
still a good job and no bugs i noticed, which is more than most of us can say when doing a game jam game. If you get a chance could you please play and rate ours?

Very good ambience. good sound sections. and a good theme. I am a fan of rain fun games and overall enjoyed this. Couple things i would work on...
1) hit detection seemed off. lost of times my shots went through targets regardless of distance, i also had some that went off in weird directions. might be some weird layer/tag filtering or the recast is hitting colliders behind the "gun" but Infront of the camera. maybe try a min distance from camera to target if you are recasting out like that corm camera with the weapon Infront of you.
2) it felt thematically Halloween...but im not really sure of the tie in to the jams theme with the TV. i saw TVs in the level, but they didn't seem to have anything to do with the games story, progression or mechanics.
Still a VERY good job for one person and fun :).
if you can please play and rate ours id appreciate it.
thanks for the input. i agree about the AI. we struggled a bit with the prefab workflow and should have planned it better. i think we were a bit too ambitious and should have cut back a bit more to give us more time to focus on monster quality. ill make sure to try your game tonight and leave a review :)
Thanks.
with the zone issue---there must have been open of the bosses we removed but the activator is still there.
the other is known something broke in the game restart function so if u do a run and then restart from the same screen it has issues. we should be able to get both fixed.
wish i had had time for a seafety zone.. would have helped a lot i think. but that does not seem like something that counts as a "bug fix" since i never designed it. so ill patch that after judging i think.
fun game. honestly the music gets you interested at the beginning, but then its AI so that's a bit of a bummer. overall though the only gameplay thing that felt off was the jump. it was very floaty and the speed seemed fixed. there is a great video by tarodev. its a ujnity tutorial and i saw u were gadot but its really the principles of the side scrolling platform controller he is talking about. check it out and try some of it on your next platform controller it helped me out a lot.

interesting take and i loved the style. really worked hard to be in the theme ofthe jam. you have a very cool concept here id be interested to see what happened if you spent more time on it. i understood the tangbility switch but im not sure it was fully working. no matter what channel i switched to i fell through the platform outside when i tried to jump to it.
the art and theme are great. mechanically though i was not sure what was going on. i think it needs some damage feedback to help communicate to the player when they are damaging. there also seemed to be a cooldown or limit to the spacebar, but i didn't see the display for that. STILL GREAT. gave it 2x 5 stars,.

good job for a solo bit. was strugglijng to break the gravestone on level 1. grabbed 2 corns and managed to get through sideways. couldn't break the stone. grabbed the bottom corn and still was not big enough. nothing happened when i got in the caldron. so didn't get through the stone with 3. restarted the game and got the 3 top but then couldn't fit to the bottom to get6 the 4th and try to break the stone.
Ok so...on one side...its just an infinate runner with no real extra mechanic....but like the theme is great. you tied it in well and its very unique. the style and all of it is just very great. first 5 star i have done for aestetics so far.
id have bumped up fun and mechanics rating you had used the candy as a speed boost so it was sort of a double edged sword aand made the game harder but you got more score/gut further. and that would have also worked for the bonus challenge from the jam.
very very good job. my favorite single person submission yet
