Why Pomodoro works for focus and productivity
Our brains aren’t built for endless concentration. Studies show attention fades after 20–30 minutes. This is why Pomodoro’s 25-minute work sessions, separated by short breaks, hit the sweet spot.
Add regular breaks, and you boost your productivity, enhance time management, avoid burnout, and achieve your goals.
💪

History of the Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. Cirillo was a university student in Italy. Struggling to focus, he grabbed a kitchen timer shaped like a tomato (pomodoro in Italian) and challenged himself to study in short bursts.
That simple tomato timer grew into a global way to work and study, now used by students, entrepreneurs, and creatives around the world.
