Oh, hey look, the same main character as Fucking Nightmare! I wish there was some sort of easter egg with the Nightmare or someone in a Nightmare costume.
Hehee thatād would have been cool. The win screen was a bit of an last moment addition and my basic ass canāt make up a different colored PC apparently ahah
Yeah heās supposed to be a blue pig and the nightmare one is a blue bunny, but I guess the low resolution and cum obscure his nose here. In hindsight should have just used the bunny again here, would have been a pretty cool continuation, but I dread drawing the same character twice since I cant keep on model.
Well, practice makes perfect, y'know, and this would've been a good opportunity to practice, since even if you did mess up, it's not like that's a piece of info that you need to know to enjoy the game.
Yeah the thing is that keeping on model is just not as fun to draw, and wanted to keep this as stress-free as possible. But as it did end up with basically the same character, could have might as well turn him into the bunnyboy.
Honestly such a shame that with such nice traits we can't interact more with the character as you have a great artstyle ! Best ones were the ghost and the werewolf obviously :p tho if the devil was a gal would have been top tier too !

Thatās the gimmick, it disappears if you shake again. The idea is that you count your shakes and take note when the candy appears. Then try to hit the right number again and stop there. Hint 3 has the correct numbers, and hint 4 has the cheat if you just wanna skip the gameplay. Sorry itās so convoluted, but thought it could be fun to figure out the system so I didnāt put any how to play in-game. I knew this was gonna be a bit of an hit or miss gameplaywise, hence the hints and the cheat mode.
I won't go into very deep detailed explanation on why i like this game, or the issue i have with it. All i have to say is that it's simple, and has a very good art style which i love, with a sorta unique form of gameplay which i haven't really seen before. It's short and simple and fun. 8/10
Do wish the gameplay was more involved than shaking the bucket left and right. Like some kind of physical/claw game mechanic would be great. While the shaking basically makes the hints mandatory.

Yeah had a whereās waldo style gameplay in mind first, looking for the candy in the bucket, but it seemed a bit tedious to make or get it right. The gameplay was an afterthought tbh, just knew I wanted the player getting flashed by trick or treaters and had to pair it up with some gameplay. Claw game would have been cool though!
Yeah unfortunately I kinda ruin the ambiguity with the ending. I considered leaving it out, but I wanted something extra for people who finish the game with the candies, and you know, it was fun to draw hehe.
You shake the bucket by holding down and swiping left and right. A candy will appear, tap/click that. Check the hints for more info.
If it doesnāt let you shake, or the candy doesnāt appear, it might be bugged. My first mobile godot game and tested only on Chrome PC and Safari iPhone. If you wanna help let me know what exactly you can do, I guess tapping works since you see the character. And the system you are on.
