There's something very funny about this being tagged as containing 'boys' love content', since I don't think the content present is all that loving... Wouldn't boys' hate be more accurate? lol
Well I guess it depends on whose POV you're viewing the story from (and you can play as a male MC I guess...)
The art for this is absolutely gorgeous. I love both of the character designs, and there's so much attention to detail. They're both so expressive (well, Evan less so haha), and it's really nice how the main menu changes after each ending. It's such a nice attention to detail!
I love the UI, it's really polished and pleasant to look at, and the music you picked out is perfect too.
As for the story, it's really interesting and innovative. I've never read a VN where the MC dies at the start haha, the way the choices are framed is really interesting too. I think the writing itself is a little spotty (the narration swaps between past and present tense a bit, and there's some unnatural phrasing which made me do a double take), but I never had any issues comprehending what was happening. The two main boys are consistently written and quite charming, too.
It was a very polished experience, you did a great job! I really love the aesthetics of this one, it's a real standout among all of the Spooktober entries I've read!

Yeah... so... about the boy's love tag... I did have to think many times about it. If we go with the usual definition of BL, this does have a semblance of romance between two guys (Masc MC x Evan, like you've mentioned). But if we go by the definition of a "loving and wholesome romance with two guys", then this is definitely not it LOL. So I thought hard and decided to tag it that for MC x Evan. Technically this is more of a boy's murder in all honesty 😭😭 If the tag IS misleading though, I don't mind removing the BL tag both in the game page and the submission page!
Aside from that, thank you so much for your kind words! I really have the main artist (Yonnechi) and the designer (Trrisuf) for the wonderful visuals! Yonnechi drew the boys so so well and visualized their personalities so well with her art! And Trrisuf is actually more of a product/brand designer, but he was able to come up with a sleek and beautiful UI design and logo for the game! I seriously can't stop gushing about how amazing their work is LOL this game wouldn't be as good visually without them
As for the writing, I tried to experiment with the narrative and I'm happy that you found it interesting! Tenses has always been my worst enemy... but I've been trying to be more mindful while writing and keep better track of it! But even with all the flaws, I'm still glad that it doesn't take away most of the experience!

I mean, I also tag my own one-sided yuri romances as yuri haha
I just think is the 'love' part of the 'boys' love' that can make it feel a little funny when darker stuff gets tagged with it haha
