If you go to achievements, near the bottom is a list of achievements for finding each of the eyes. The titles are hints about where to find the eyes in the level.

And Iām through! TBH, Iām not sure what changed. Sol was talking about how Nerissa needs to focus on her needs, but I didnāt see any option in the game for something like āself-careā or āI want to be alone.ā I suddenly got access to talking about the tarot, followed that path, and boom, I got the ending. I wish I could figure out how I got here. Was the old version of my game buggy? Or did I accidentally do the right thing to get this path?
Oh! Thatās different from how I read the store pages.
The Knight Bewitched page says that the Ambrose Saga includes itself, the numerical sequel, and Celestial Hearts.
KB2ās page confirms itās the second game.
Celestial Heartsā page doesnāt say its part of the Ambrose Saga, but going off of KB1ās page, itād be the third game.
Finding Light describes itself as the fourth entry.
Knight Eternal describes itself as the fifth entry.
Absinthiaās page doesnāt mention it being part of the Ambrose Saga, and none of the other pages mention it.
Iām guessing you changed the intended canon at some point, but that never got reflected in the store pages.
Thank you! I donāt recall encountering the Steam Powered Boulder. Maybe I just missed it.
I didnāt realize I can recycle the data items. Where can I do that?
Thanks again for making this game. Itās incredible. If I hadnāt been going through my itch bundles with a fine-toothed comb, I would have missed out on this one.
Played through and got the three main endings (plus the poisoning yourself ending). I think the one where youāre the most thorough is the best, but the other two have their moments.
Out of curiosity, how do you get āno stone left unturnedā? And is the hidden achievement just āyou got all the achievementsā?

I completed the game (and left a review)! I have a few post-game questions.
-
How do you complete Boulderdash? I feel like I visited every room in Russia twice, and returned to the quest giver, but it wouldnāt end.
-
There are a couple points where somebody says āWHAT HAPPENED TO ROBERT?ā to Robox. However, there isnāt any payoff. Is there a story behind that and the surreal hacking levels? Or is it just a joke riffing off of creepypasta tropes? Or something Iād only get if I watched the show?
-
How do you get tickets? Thereās a machine in HQ that you can spend tickets on, but I donāt recall getting any tickets from the video games in HQ.
I would love to run this game! I have a few questions, though.
-
How many dice does each action start with (i.e. before collaboration, adding traits, etc.).
-
Adding onto that, what can cause you to have 0 (or less) dice in your pool? I canāt find anything - even the complications - that give your pool a penalty.
-
Under Add Dice for Clues, it says āyou may deliberately get a number of facts wrong to increase the Suspectās sense of superiorityā¦ā. Does that mean I can cite a clue in support of my role, even if my justification is absurd?
-
Is it possible to trigger Elucidate off of only true clues, without any Fabrication? I could see how some of the example clues for the first mystery could be intentionally misinterpreted to make it look like somebodyās actions were suspicious.
Sadly, my computer crashed and I lost my game files. On the plus side, switching to Easy Mode let me catch up to where I left off and finish the game quickly. It did make the final fight go by a little too quickly for me to savor, but it was worth it to see the rest of the game.
Regardless, thanks again for the advice. I appreciate the help.
How did you get the gold ending? I think Iāve gotten both silver endings and both bronze endings, but I canāt find a new path forward. I double-checked every dialogue branch, but they all drop me back to the main screen instead of moving things forward. I thought Malindu would have something new to say, but all I can do is ask him about how heās doing, and things go back to the title screen as usual. Iām stuck.
Thanks for sharing the info. Unfortunately, Iām still stuck. Iāve watched the video and made several more attempts on the third boss, along with at least another couple on the Mythological Slime.
I can get the Mythological Slime down to 200 HP. Iād have killed it, except when it drains a character or eats its allies, it gains enough HP to keep me from finishing it off. Tai usually dies when the countdown hits about 3, because Iām playing him so desperately with offense that he canāt handle incoming damage and Julian doesnāt have a way of taking the pressure off him.
As for the video, it helped me get a better understanding of how to play Julian and Tai off of each other. In particular, using Signal Flare to make people target Julian while he has Self-Sufficiency up. Iāve been able to get the third boss down to the point where he gives himself a buff, but I die pretty quickly after that. Either they dogpile Tai despite Signal Flare being up, they hit Julian with everything when his buffs are down and Taiās berserk, or they stun one of my party members. Any of those is a death sentence for me.
The other thing is that I donāt understand enough about the rhythm of the game play. I donāt know how to avoid being put in a bad position, nor how to adapt if things go badly. If I get put on the defensive or just get a bad round of luck, itās over for me. The bosses can beat me through attrition.
Iām threading too tight a needle managing status effects, power cooldowns, health, ammo, and TP. While also trying to account for boss patterns on top of that. If they didnāt have the ability to regenerate health or if my buffs lasted longer, Iām pretty sure I could make it.
Thanks for the info! And no worries about the delay. Life goes on.

Good to know, thanks!
-
Yeah, Iām afraid itās not working. I just made my fifth attempt. The Devourer inflicts too much damage. Iāve gambled on the hope the boss is low on HP and that itāll target the less-injured character (usually Julius, because he doesnāt have a defense debuff), but itāll always kill Tai. Iāve switched to a more defensive strategy of healing and hoping to get ahead of the damage output, but I canāt keep up.
-
Which buffs should I be using? I should tried my sixth attempt, this time using Crusader Mindset, followed by Bullet Spray. Tai was using Bleeding Edge, healing when possible, and I had him go berserk when I got desperate. However, the cooldown for Crusader Mindset was too long to keep up with how fast the Grotesquerie brought back its adds.
-
I thought you had to kill literally every monster to progress, if only because of how difficult the boss encounters are. Iām already struggling to defeat the third boss. I canāt imagine even getting this far without killing more monsters.
Maybe you could lay out the combat system and recommended strategies in detail? And give me the HP of the bosses? Since Iām at 5+ attempts on both of them and I think Iām doing what youāre recommending, I suspect Iām doing something wrong.
Good news! I got a new computer, came back to this game, installed the new āstandaloneā version, and voila, it runs perfectly! I was able to finally complete the game and get one ending.
I know thereās several others, but Iām scratching my head on how to get them. I looked at the developer notes, but it didnāt give me much more to work with.
Thanks! I appreciate the advice on this and my other post!
Iāve made it further, but hit a few new roadblocks.
-
I still cannot figure out what triggers an event in the āno funeralā room. Iāve completed 19 floors, picked up the cards of all three monsters, and read all the journal entries. What am I missing?
-
I donāt know how to defeat the Devourer. I have Tai go berserk as often as possible, while having Julian support with Threaten, Warning Shot, and Bullet Spray. When the berserkās on cooldown, I try either regular knife attacks or Bleeding Edge. However, I couldnāt do enough damage to kill it. Iāve tried twice. Advice?
-
I donāt know how to defeat the Grotesquerie Slime. It summons adds, which I canāt kill before the Grotesquerie Slime devours all three of them and regains more health than Iāve inflicted. So Iām netting zero damage against it. Iāve fought it only once. Ditto about getting advice here, please!

Iāve noticed that your Bonus PDF has some letters in red, which spell out words: visitor (pg 12), national (pg 20), messiah (pg 33). Was this just for fun or is there some purpose to knowing them? I canāt think of any use for them in the game.
-
Once I defeat the Devourer, do I have access to the dev room? Or are there other bosses I havenāt found? And, either way, are there any hints on where to find the dev room? FYI, Iāve cleared two secret boss encounters: the Nightmare Slime, and the Attic, Innocent, and Mascot Slimes.
Also, hey, someone else who likes Dragon Quarter? Youāre awesome!
Three questions
Just got taken out by the second boss. Gosh, this oneās tough. Iām not sure how Iām going to win. Should I focus fire on the healer?
Oh, and, when do I return to the side room with the āno funeralā note? Would I do that after I defeat the second boss?
I found a photo/drawing behind the altar with the heart symbol on it. Whatās the purpose of picking it up? It doesnāt appear in my inventory.
That was an amazing write-up! Thank you so much for explaining. Itās reassuring to know that in some ways I was overthinking things, and to have those tips for the little things that I didnāt know. I guess beyond that, itās just a matter of RNG, right? It doesnāt matter if I use the best strategy against the mouse whose target is a 12 if he keeps drawing 10s. XD
Could somebody give me general advice on how to beat this game? Iāve played about a hundred times and gotten to the final dealer only once. I knew very little about blackjack before playing this game, so I read some articles on betting strategies. I also spend as much as I can buying special abilities.
Part of my struggle is that I donāt understand how shifting target numbers affect things, nor do I understand how a ārunning countā affects how much I should bet or what actions I should take. Thatās on top of feeling overwhelmed by questions of when to split, double, or surrender.
How do I get the gold ending? I think Iāve seen both bronze and silver endings. However, I am not seeing any new options. I assumed that after figuring out things with Citrine, Sol, and Veronica, then I would go back to Malindu and he would have something new to say. However, all I can do is ask him how heās doing, and all the dialogue routes with the other characters play out the same as always.
