My memory issues make short, knowledge based games like this great! I can start again every few months, looking through everything and watching as the early stages become better.

A note, though: One of the hints mentions yin nodes, but it only specifies which nodes are yin or yang once, as far as I can tell. I think using consistent language (instead of alternating between major/minor and yin/yang) could be helpful for the learning process. This might be easier if the grimoire contains the hints and the text for spells!

Another thing would be tracking mishap dialogue in a separate "page" of the grimoire, perhaps near similar spells. (such as the 'fat cat' and 'skinny cat')

I know this is a lot of suggestions in one comment, BUT!! Arrows pointing to hints you get from one spell could be nice. Think the rumor system from Outer Wilds. (Second time I've mentioned it on this game, haha)

Loving how this is progressing. I hope you keep updating this more!

Spoilers below if I did this right I have no idea how itch works

Well that's bad. I managed to delete the altar. I have no idea how.

It's because it's popular. The bad people always stand out in a fandom.  The troublesome ones often don't care if they're loud.

I got everything but sprouting fortune now. No clue what I'm supposed to do. I've tried pine+growth+abundance, but nothing happened. All my other ideas have failed too.

After using inspect element to cheat the solution for bowl, I finally got Serenity! I didn't need any help past that first step, luckily.

I realize I opened this and tried to look for an Easter egg, but didn't really give it a chance. After playing through it a little, I got about halfway through before getting stuck. I don't know much about this stuff, however it's cool to play around with! I'd appreciate if there was more guidance in game, though, since right now I'm just brute forcing Put with other sigils.

I'd like to see how this grows!

I input the Outer Wilds coordinates and nothing happened 0/10 smh my shaking

Played the demo and it's REALLY good! I'm not sure this is the type of game I would play enough to spend money on, but it is fun!

I ran through all combinations twice and I can't get the middle one in the box :(
Maybe I should try playing the game properly

This is really cool! Good job on making me feel bad about killing the opponents, and making all the fights unique and interesting!

Really cool concept! Kinda easy, I beat it damageless on my first try. Still cool!!

Beat this mod finally! It's really cool, although I feel like half of my solutions were unintended. Still a fun challenge!

As you can tell, I get emotionally attached to inanimate objects very quickly

I've only had homing orb for an hour and a half, and if anything happened to it, I would go on a several year long revenge mission.

Yes.

It is actually an incremental game. Incremental games are games in which you gain currency by doing some simple task, and over time the amount of currency gained increases. :)
You're probably thinking of idle games, in which you typically need little to no input in order to advance. Even then, the auto jump upgrade makes this term applicable.

Very fun! Beat all levels normal and then again with collectables. There's a few small bugs, I found that at times the glass was inconsistent, but otherwise, 10/10!

This is really cool! I like the unique take on incremental games.

I don't remember when exactly, but it takes quite a while for it to be completed

I refused on day 40. Technically it's faster! But also I'm going for the alternate path

Finally got 1000 of each! Here's everything I've done:
Council of crowns, sold cog, dragon slain,  gold machine made. Day 119, 5436 residents, 1008 happiness, and 3294 gold!

Pumpkin? What pumpkin? There has never been a pumpkin and never will be a pumpkin.

That's similar, but it's got pretty different execution. That's like saying Terraria stole Minecraft because they're both sandbox games.

55780. It's a shame it's so unstable.

I got a 51055 score before it crashed. What did I learn? Taking 40 magnet perks is bad for the framerate, and taking 20 attack speed is strong as heck

Very good, but also very prone to crashing. When it works it's really fun! Would be nice to see more variety

I don't remember exactly, I did it a few years ago. Google is your friend!

No, but it's possible to make steam run the game still! You just won't get the achievements or playtime, or any of that stuff. Just the ability to launch it from steam.

Hey, sorry for not responding sooner, I haven't been on Itch a lot. 200 seemed to work pretty well for me, even when mashing at top speed through dialogue it didn't give me a warning. Thanks for responding!

So I've been using this with some mods and I have to do a lot of inputs quickly, and it keeps pausing in the middle of my section, showing the attatchment, how do I fix this?
