The whole problem is the broken jumping mechanic. When I jump anywhere, my movement pattern randomly switches from walking to some kind of gliding motion, like a character moving across water. In this state, the jump button is disabled, and I can no longer progress through the level. On level 3, this happens right from the start, and I can't get over small ledges to get into the elevator. I was lucky once and was able to move normally at the beginning of the level, but then I jumped somewhere else and got stuck, unable to jump to move forward.

I don't know why this bug happens. No one else here seems to have complained about anything similar, so maybe it's just me. It's a shame, because I really like everything else in your game :С

I don't think you need to worry about people not wanting to play your game. It looks so cool that people will want to play it regardless of Christmas.

By the way, I noticed another small bug: the puddles of blood left in the air after killing mosquitoes remain in the air. I know that EFPSE can't create real flying enemies, and you have to use invisible barriers to create the illusion. But I think you could remove the puddle sprites or make them very small so they're invisible.

It would also be nice to replace the default bullet hole sprites so they don't clash with the overall style.

I really love this art style! The first level is the best and most detailed of them all. The scenery is beautifully and stylishly done. It's nice to watch the voluminous potted plants sway and everything. The enemies and weapons are also very cool animated. I was hoping to see those two magical hooded guys again because I was so impressed by how beautifully they exploded into pieces; I didn't even think that was possible in EFPSE. The only thing is that the lighting is a bit broken, and Santa's hands are mostly in darkness, and I'd like to see them in the light more often. (And I'd also like a shotgun :D). The only significant issue I encountered was that if I clicked on the sleigh before completing all three levels, the game would freeze. Of the short game, the level with the turrets isn't the most beautiful and is rather repetitive, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Because everything else is simply superb. The main drawback of your game is: why so little? :В I would really like to see further development of this wonderful game

Very stylish, fun, and quite challenging. Santa with a gun is the most dangerous enemy; he shoots very accurately, quickly, and deals a lot of damage. And if there are several of them at once, they can one-shot the player. Fortunately, the levels are full of cover, and there's excellent dynamite, which solves this problem.

I was only a little disappointed with the boss fight. It has very little tactics and a lot of chaos. Basically, the most effective strategy is to shoot from the doorway.

It would probably be better to have the player enter the boss arena from above, preventing them from retreating back to the door. And scatter gifts with dynamite around the arena. And maybe add a little more cover.

But overall, your game is great. I had a lot of fun.

I love Quake too, but it still doesn't help me get out of the water, even if I press the spacebar as hard as I can. Although, a couple of times I managed to get out without much effort, just like in any other water shooter.

Perhaps the game is behaving incorrectly because my laptop with integrated graphics is too outdated. Many modern retro games don't run well on my device.

In that case, the problem probably isn't with your game.

But I liked what I saw. I'll be looking forward to more games from you :D

Your game piss me оff. Despite all its advantages, such as beautiful, stylish graphics and captivating shooting, once you fall into the water, it's impossible to get out. Sometimes you succeed, but sometimes you can try for an hour and still not gain enough height to jump. It's simply unbearable. By the third level, you end up right in the water, and the jump simply turns off, making further progress impossible. I really don't like this.

You've got a great balance. The game is moderately difficult, but still fair.

And you've created some exceptionally good bosses. I'd rate the final boss as one of the best ever implemented on EFPSE.

The regular enemies are also very good. They're not very varied, but very well designed. The only thing I'd suggest is making the pig explosion's 3D sprite visually larger to better convey the blast radius.

And the gun looks cool and fires well.

The sound design and the storyline about the effects of trichinosis are also very good.

The only weak point of the game is the level design, although it's not bad. The map quality is a bit lacking in some places. The worst part for me was finding the right path through the ventilation shaft. When you hit another dead end and have to crawl back, it feels like a boring waste of time. A couple of those pig-roaches would have been worth adding for fun. And, of course, the dead ends need to be closer together so you don't have to backtrack too much. But overall, the levels are good, and the platforming elements were surprisingly less frustrating than expected. I really enjoyed it.

Well, while I wait for the second chapter, I'll check out your other games.

I really enjoyed your game, and I hope it continues to develop.

By the way, I found a bug, and not just one. Hundreds of them are running around the level, and they're either impossible to kill or impossible to hit :D

Во блян, сейчас смотрю на то что я написал, и понимаю что это читать могло быть немного трудно. Ну а то, ночью доиграл только, и решил что надо сразу фидбэк записать пока впечатления свежие, а мысли уже путались чутка. Но я рад если это было полезно для твоего дела. И мне очень отрадно узнать что ты собираешься и дальше развивать этот проект и я обязательно блябуду следить за этим. Ну и конечно поиграю как ты выкатишь обнову и снова напишу.

Здорова, Заценил твою новую игру. Мне понравилось. 
Окружение сделанно- мое почтение. Очень солидно. Пропы, текстуры, скайбокс, спрайты, освещение, постобработка, саунд- все удалось. Тут даже с трудом узнается изич.
Но больше всего меня порадовали пушки и мувмент. Я помню видел обрезы в играх на ЕФПС, там всегда одна атака и "магазин" на два патрона, а если все же и был альтогонь на пкм, то  можно было с одним патроном в стволе сделать дуплет. Но ты эту проблему решил красиво и элегантно. Гранатомет и винтовка тоже сделаны качественно, но вот два глока это прям отвал. Особенно мне нравится их badass-перезарядка, "просто выкинь их нахрен" и то как они отображаются на полу.  Я прям удивился.
Подкаты работают тут отлично, и их хочется использовать. Разве что не хватает еще какой нибудь вертикальности. Ну знаешь, попрыгать по каким нибудь коробкам, уворачиваясь от пуль, и все такое.
Я хочу немного поговрить и про минусы:
Враги чрезмерно жирные. Нормально их пронимают только глоки, снайпа и гранатомет. Шикарный обрез, даже с дуплета, не всегда способен уложить самого хилого свнокопа, не говоря уже про бронированных. Использовать его хочется, но это убыточно. Та же снайпа всего немного медленнее обреза, но укладывает почти всех, одним попаданием.

Катана сделана хорошо, но вот использовать ее негде. Можно по прколу зарубить несколько пигов, получая при этом спрей из пуль прямо в тыкву, но на этом все. В ближнем бою, никто кроме финального босса, игрока не атакует. 
Но главное разочарование это стартовый пулемет.  Не понимаю, я где то упустил инфу что это какой то страйкбойльный пугач, или это такая игровая условность мол "стартовая пушка должна сосать". Но убивать кого то из этой штуки, неадекватно выматывает.  Даже враги наносят больше урона игроку чем эта пукалка. А выглядит она, при этом, так будто ей можно лес валить. Прям диссонанс.
Я думаю с этим надо что то делать. Пусть враги бы умирали быстро, но наносили еще больше урона. Геймплэй стал бы быстрым, но при этом требовал бы от игрока больше осторожности и проверял бы умение уклоняться. 
Ну и по мелочи еще: Почему ты решил сделать исчезающие трупы? Это так сильно помогает оптимизации? Просто в подобных 2,5D-шутерах есть своя отдельная фишка с тем что трупы остаются на месте и служат иногда для навигации, а и иногда просто как украшение уровня.
И еще я хотел сказать что финал игры мне показался немного бедным. Я, честно говоря, ждал какой то прям завод газировки, с открытыми резервуарами в которых булькает фиолетовая жижа, валит пар, работают насосы и все в этом духе. Новых врагов, типа каких то мужиков в химзащите котоырые варят это дьявольское пойло, и чем черт шутим, может и саму манифестацию Дрочи во плоти. А меня там ждало две комнаты с какими то бойлерами, хотя я полагаю что быть их должно было аж четыре, раз из полицейского участка я вынес четыре бомбы. Но четыре раза повторять махич "катана против лопаты" было бы слишком и наверное по этому число бойлеров сократилось в двое. Ну значит еще два С4 останутся прозапас, на сиквел.
Ну это вроде и все что мне есть сказать. Я, хоть и не без огрехов, но получил удовольствие играя в твое творение, и это достойно благодарности. Спасибо.

This is probably the best thing I've played on EFPSE so far

Quality atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of The Pink Valley. Music and effects sound great. Gameplay is a bit simple, it lacks depth. Shotgun fires too many bullets, because of which the game freezes a little with each shot, and the spread is too big. Also, I would recommend avoiding scanning enemies and adding projectiles to them, so that the player has at least some opportunity to dodge. But overall it looks promising. I will wait for the full version.

I liked the shotgun mechanic. It's very suitable for a horror game because when you're in a panic, even with three buttons it can be confusing. I also suggested making it so the player can pull the pump even if the shotgun is already loaded, players will panic, get confused and unload ammo for nothing. Although it would be nice to have the ability to pick up unlоad ammo later if you still managed to survive. I would also suggest removing the bat and instead giving the player an unloaded shotgun at the very beginning that they can use as a melee weapon until they find ammo. It could be interesting as a game where you only have one gun, but with enough depth to not get boring.

Я это конечно же понимаю, но дэмо это достаточно насыщенное контентом, и по тому это все еще достаточно щедро.
А полную версию я обязательно буду ждать и покупать, ведь такие разработки определенно надо поддерживать финансово. Людям нужны такие хорошие стрелялки на компютер.

Спасибо вам, мужики. Отстреливать зонбеков в вашей игре весело и прикольно. А раздавать такую игру бесплатно- это не просто щедро, это очень щедро.

Отличная демка! Катсцены, озвучка и прочие фишки ваще улет.
Единственное к чему я бы хотел прикопаться, это лвл-дизайн. Бывает что слишком не очевидно какие двери должны открываться, а какие нет. За время прохождения дэмки это не так сильно досаждало, но думаю что на длинной дистанции этот момент может потрепать нервы.
Ну и совсем по мелочи, у меня со спичками в тюрячке все получилось только раза с десятого, я уж начал думать что что то не то я делаю. Может там как то хитбокс у датчика сделать пошире или типа того?
А в остальном ну, я бы наверное дубинке добавил чуть больше урона, хотя бы для тяжелого удара, потому что ковырять ею врагов было самую малость душновато, благо дробовик хотя бы ваншотит вупор.

Мне понравилось курить в этой игре. В жизни я этого не делаю

This is one of the most atmospheric and beautiful games I've seen on this engine. But I couldn't finish it. Too much searching for objects in a dark forest and inconspicuous places, with -5 vision and a limp on both legs. It took me a lot of effort, but I got an axe from the ashes, then I found three batteries in the bushes, 40 rounds for a revolver and a pistol in a house full of basins with offal. But when I was asked to find the key to the gate, I couldn't. I don't know what the matter was, I went to the house for it, but I didn't find it, I looked for a staircase to the second floor, but it wasn't there (probably because EFPS doesn't support multi-leveling), then I saw two enemies on the street, shot them, but I still couldn't find that damn key anywhere nearby. Then I went back to the forest, for some reason the enemies appeared again and there were a lot of them, I killed them all, but I still didn't get or find the key. I walking the level several times, but the slow walking became unbearable. It was like when I was a kid and you can't beat the game, but you keep fighting it to see what happens next, but I still had to give up because I started getting angry at the game for wasting my time.

 Slow walking + searching for items in an unknown place is very boring.
But I am grateful for the positive emotions I still managed to get from the game.

Great level design. I like the atmosphere of an underwater military base where something went wrong. Reminds me of one of the missions in the first Deus Ex. 

But the shooter is very primitive. It lacks impact. I think it would be better if there was a shotgun, even if it didn't kill all the enemies with one point-blank shot, then at least stun them. And it would be even cooler if the corpses of enemies remained on the level, and didn't disappear in a bloody fog.

I don’t have a channel, but I would start one on such a case :D

I didn't use it as I almost didn't die even on the highest difficulty, but this truth may not be obvious to those who are not used to or don't know about these buttons. Yes, and I myself used F5 and F6 for this before, so I probably would not have guessed either.

I didn't have the same sound problems as this guy.
