Thanks for checking it out! I'm planning on expanding this into something bigger than a tri-fold and hoping to add some Living Weapons that use ranged attacks, so DEX will likely become more multifaceted. I'm looking forward to expanding class skills, too, since they'll likely end up living in the rules instead of on the character sheet.
Such an interesting and fun way to add depth to any setting in your games. I'm planning on using this solo for session prep, but it would also make a terrific game for a group -- particularly for those nights where one of your players needs to cancel, etc. The information is really well laid out, and I appreciate the tables being available on the hex map!
Thanks so much! I adore the art in your games, too! Can't wait to hear about your playthrough! I've got an adventure in the works for it that I'm going to add to this page once I'm done, so be on the lookout.
And I agree about the STR, DEX, and PSY being a little tough to read -- going to take a look at adjusting that (probably going to manually adjust the paths to make them easier to read).
I appreciate the feedback, and I'll definitely take a look at your submissions!
As a fan of all things horror and especially stories and movies featuring creepy, haunted ephemera, this game nails the vibe! The haunted object goals are packed with opportunities for fun roleplaying, and I can imagine some awesome riffing between the players and GM as things escalate. Awesome job on this!
✔️Clean layout full of great info, examples, and easy-to-follow folding instructions
✔️Helpful guidance with plenty of encouragement to experiment
✔️Terrific notes on accessibility (contrast & printer-friendly design, to name a couple)
This kicks ass and has made me excited for whatever my next weird, little project is going to be.
I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and play. I'm really enjoying the system! I'm going kind of light on the details as I figure out the rules. Still, I've stumbled into a serpent guardian watching over a burnt nest and discovered some loot beneath a room with ancient, crumbling flooring. One question: for the loot, if I land on "1 equipment," how do I roll that result? I'm assuming I'd discover something from the Items or Gear tables -- do I pick which table? My initial instinct was to roll 1d12, but then I was unclear as to why the tables are separated as 1d6 rolls. Thanks for any help!
