Hi there! No, it doesn't work because of the different shader languages. This only works with Godot 4.0+

Hi there! Are you using the gantry instead of the cargo hook? The cargo hook is the one that goes straight down, not to the side.
If that's not the issue, could you please join the discord to post about your bug? If you can join and post system info/mission number/etc, I can better help you and fix your issue!
Hi there! There's no way I'm aware of to alter my shader's fog so you can see the skybox. However, if you're using Godot 4.3 or newer, I highly recommend using the engine's fog instead of mine! You can use my shader's color/dithering effects alongside it for whatever look you'd like. That's what I'm doing in my own projects. I'm happy to help you out if you need.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! If you use the Itch desktop app or Steam (coming soon 😊) you won't get that warning. Unfortunately, getting an .exe signed by Microsoft is an expensive process, and it's not going to be fixed anytime soon as my release cadence is speeding up and I want to make sure each new version is distinct. (Itch and Signed .exe). The final release will take this reputation building into account.
But keep an eye out for the Steam release, coming Q2 next year!
Thank you so much! That means a lot. I'm actually working very hard on a mission system that tells a story as you progress 😀. Thinking about tying rewards like funny or unique game modes into completing the campaign.
I actually haven't even thought about time trials but that's a pretty cool idea, I might make an arcade mode that has a bunch of trials and is just a bunch of goofy fun. And yes, new maps are in development. But that's a stretch goal for me as I want this first map to be very well made.
Again, thanks for the kind words it really helps keep my motivation high. Stay tuned, I'm working on a lot of cool additions!

Hey everybody, thought I'd show off how my Helicopter simulation is coming along. It's a retro-style helicopter simulation focused on easy to pick up mechanics. There are 3 different helicopters, weather, reactive npcs, and several different flight models to experiment with. If you remember the 1996 SimCopter release, that's what inspired this.
I have three main goals with RotorSim:
- Design a helicopter simulation that mirrors the intricacies of aerodynamic behavior as closely as possible.
- Simplify the complex controls of a real helicopter, making it approachable and enjoyable for players without any flying experience or expensive hardware.
- Make the simulation lightweight and efficient so it runs on older hardware without issue.
As of now, there aren't any missions as I want to make the aerodynamics and world as fun to play in as possible. But those are coming soon! I love myself some feedback (good or bad) and if anyone has fun with it, please let me know because that's why I'm working on this 😀

Hey, amazing job! I really like what you've done, I think the Godot ecosystem could use more helicopters 😀. A quick suggestion: I think the experience would be greatly enhanced with a small amount of dampening around when the helicopter changes directions instead of sharp changes in direction...smoothing those movements out would make it feel a lot more natural.
Honestly though, what you've made is an amazing tech demo and I hope you keep updating it! Looking forward to seeing what this becomes.
