We loved your game! Great concept with strong music and visuals, though it really needs subtitles and could be expanded further - tons of potential here! Greetings from Jakob and Jenia of the Vampire Horror 3D Jam🧛

Jakob: Amazing use of the theme - but not of this jam the other one actually. Makes you really think, and decide by not doing. Would benefit greatly with subtitles added. We replayed the whole thing to see the other ending, but felt a little bit like not worth it, didnt change a lot, but made you think of possibilites which is nice. Has some potential to be a bigger thing definitely. And indeed the music and sound guys were killing it!

Jenia: Very nice graphics. Very cool idea. I miss subtitles, though, because I missed a lot of things because of them. It could have been longer. Very nice music and sounds. Lots of potential

Jakob: Super innovative but unfortunately very hard to get into. Very hard to control the ball, maybe you could release it slightly into the air and then strike like in real tennis. Has a potential to be very fun, if done in a right way.

Jenia: The idea was interesting, but I had no control over the ball. The music was great, though!

Jenia: Very scary! Jakob gives it a lower rating than I do. I think it's alright, a really cool mechanic. However, I'd like to see some sort of reward at the end, like, "Wow, you did it! Yahoo!".

Jakob: Nice concept, very freaky and scary in the beginning. A little bit hard to understand in the  beginning (that you should actually look back instead of not looking back). Has some issues, with the sticky keys on windows - but that only adds to she scariness. Also would greatly benefit with some variation, as the longer you go, the enemy had a very repetetive pattern which was easy to predict, therfore less scary. Overall a nice thing, that you should definitely work on in the future :)

3D is not a hard requirement, however we strongly encourage it as it is a part of this jams essence ☠️ + it is one of the criteria the games will be rated with.

Hey I would like to help a team with the level creation of your game. I'm comfortable using Unity and Unreal. My discord handle: #jakob5408.

Below i showcase some of my work that i think is relevant for this jam:

Thanks for playing 😇 Curious if you made it to the end?

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. Amazing that you managed to finish it 😇

Cute experience, but a little buggy in my experience. If there were different plank values that can be put on the door, the game would benefit greatly in showing that - like a fully covered door pop up or a sound or a visual, as i kept clicking in frenzy without knowing that im done with this door. Also when on the edges of the level, it sometimes broke on me and it was very hard to go back the other way. The visuals a little lacking as well.

Pretty interesting, but would have benefited greatly with some more detail - like I wished something happened with the big guy on top, if the spirit grew stronger he could grow as well or some scary stuff could happene there. There some potential for some great scares in this game. Also was a there an ending?

Very intriguing and pretty unique art style. I liked the gameplay too as it was refreshing for me (playing mainly 3d games). I liked how you can interact with a lot of objects, but after the 3rd floor I lost interest in reading the little comments since I expected something to happen before I can interact with the side content. I have experienced a few bugs, but nothing game breaking. But overall a nice entry :)

Very simple and very atmopsheric, loved the visuals. Wish there was more, there's a cool opportunity to tell a little story with this one :)

Amazing! I took the advice on the floor and died to escape. Were there more endings? I tried taking the boat, and illuminating the ladder to maybe make it solid but that did nothing. My only critique would be that the game info-drops a lot of information in the beginning using text, which a little too much for a player in the beginning. Other than that amazing experience :)

Ahahahaha! ...i dont get it 🙃

Nice, would benefit greatly with more minigames

Cute, simple. Doesn't overstay it's welcome :)

Amazing, I think I wasted an hour in it! Cant really find a critique, just keep polishing, adding features, expand and publish :)

Very nice and detailed, there are lots to uncover in this game. I would fiddle around with the full screen setting as it was very weirdly looking on my PC (maybe only an issue on my machine). I really liked it, i could envision myself playing it for a little while longer.

Might have misunderstood the game, I fired everyone or fired everything😂

Nice. I managed to break it several times using the shop. Some minor bugs here and there. I liked, the enemy variety and felt nice to walk around finding the loot

Very cozy and polished. However, I over jumped the obstacles at every moment, leading to me not being able to finish the first platforming challenge. I feel like you could work on the controlls a little more, but overall a nice entry :)

Do you have a discord handle? Our team of 2 : Programmer/3d artist and Level Designer/ Game Designer are looking for a 3d artist for our game

Have you found a team already? :)

What a way to tell a story! Best one I played so far. I broke the game somehow, but was intrigued enough to keep playing. SImply amazing to be honest. The only feedback is to maybe make some of those decisions even more impactful? (i thought that not banging on the door 2 times, made me lose the comrade route, but not sure). But it's a strech really as the game was great on it's own.  Managed to finish it in the end. Rating it 10/5 :)

Is there a 2nd "good" ending? Would play it again if there is :)

Yeah, making a game about complete darkness is a gamble. Couldn't really play it, even with brightness up :( Love the visuals that are burried there though

Buildings health would be nice to have, as i couldnt understand that i need to hit them multiple times at first. Could open up a little faster, with a less tight economy. Pretty cool once it opens up though.

Crashed on me with a black screen, barely able to sign out and rescue my system 😨

There are backup weapons hidden in the level as well as we were aware of the issue, but didnt have the time to properly adress it. Thanks for playing

Hi, I'm a Level Designer, looking for a team, for this jam. I mainly use Unity. Here's a little portfolio piece, which i think vibes with the jam idea:

I could also do some game design work if needed, but mainly i would like to contribute with levels and defining gameplay. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

My discord: jakob5408

I'm using Unity mainly, wouldn't like to risk learning Godot from scratch during a jam. Thanks for the offer :)

Thanks for the invite. Definitely will do. Would be nice to be back, as I have already participated in one of your game jams :)
