Thanks for the reply, topology agnostic really sounded like a term to chew on. Does that mean the digitalia of your worlds exist in a seperate plane of code to the positional? Sometimes I consider digital life to be a fascinating subject, and the generative text sphere seems dead set on a huge leaps of progress. I ask because topology is among many concepts that have been taught to me via word and picture, yet I don't understand what it really means. 

Any way a tech demo is neat. What is your demo out now? I'm speaking in a bit of a position of angst, as this was something I wanted to take on myself, having been wowed by SimEarth and constantly in the technical shadow of pioneers that made me want to finally give gamedev a try.

Yeah hmm, it worked on mine, but it might be hardcoded to 1920x1080, might try updating to godot four and see if it works well.

It's running in Godot 4 likely, so it needs a very modern browser and might not run on all OSes, might need to download.

Looking at it quickly I believe it can be played on computer! I played Delve the dwarf fortress maker by Anna Blackwell on PC. All you'd need is some dice (virtual or not), a drawing app, and a notes app.

It certainly would be very forward thinking. Leafy went with a safer route here, but is up for juries around the world to decide whether the gross negligence of these mass-fed models is acceptable. Hi, sorry I found your post from the word AI in it as I was trying to look up the discussion thread about it. Everything in the world seems determined to go the wrong way, so lets just keep on trying to do our best!

Well shoot, I'm not sure what percent if any is AI generated, but I can't really figure out whether I used AI in the past retroactively like I might for assets I've included. It's a legal black area too muddled to be gray, so I'll mark all my projects as AI code assisted and see if I should start from scratch in my dev life without AI aid. I just hope online resources aren't AI generated these days.

Got further than me, I forgot to submit my project. Did make a pet game. Was mostly hoping that a jam (a small one) would spark creativity.

It didnt really, came up with one design that's like a year long project and one demo.
