how frequent are the updates?

hey, so i got the subscribe star subscription a while back and was a tad confused since I got the 25 dollar one. it states that I had access to the last 5 seasons. Does this mean that there was more content than season 1? if so I never knew where the download links were

i also see something about transferring a save file from older versions but what version would that be 

hello idk if something is up with my game but 1 it cant save for some reason and end up losing progress, and 2) sometimes its just freezes the game not sure if there is a fix to it but hopefully  someone can answer that for me. Thank you
