I absolutely loved this game, controversial or not. HORSES isn’t afraid to push boundaries, and that boldness is exactly what makes it so compelling. The developers commit to their vision without hesitation, creating an experience that feels genuinely unique.
The silent-film style was a brilliant touch. With no traditional audio or dialogue, I found myself imagining the colours, textures, and sounds on my own, which somehow made the whole atmosphere even more unsettling. It’s a horror game that doesn’t rely on loud noises, jumpscares, or gore—and because of that, the tension hits completely differently.
The shock moments are impactful, the slow dread builds beautifully across the 14 days, and the blend of gameplay with FMV is unlike anything else I’ve played. HORSES is weird, brave, eerie, and unforgettable. If you enjoy experimental horror that sticks with you long after you finish it, this one is absolutely worth your time.
I thoroughly enjoyed the demo. It hits that perfect balance between light-hearted moments and an unsettling underlying atmosphere. The everyday setting of working a night shift really grounds the experience, and the VHS-style visuals add a great nostalgic touch.
It gave me plenty of laughs, but still kept me on edge the whole time. A really promising start to the [HERROR] anthology—can’t wait for the full episode.
This isn't a game I'd typically play, but it was a very enjoyable experience. Trinkets is a beautifully crafted narrative game, which transforms seemingly mundane objects into an amazing storytelling experience. What impressed me, though, was this was created for a school project, and there's no denying how much work and love went into this project. Great work!
This was a really enjoyable, nostalgic game; it very much reminded me of Pokemon where it started and the forest. The characters were all unique with their own personalities, and their tasks were fun and enjoyable (a couple were a little tedious, but still a great addition).
Overall, a really great game that I'd happily come back to a few months down the line.
This isn't the game for you if you're looking for something serious. This is the kind of game that pokes fun, uses a hilarious twist on words, and is so lighthearted and enjoyable. Yes, it has horror elements to it, especially if you've played the previous two and are aware of the backstory behind the game. This one didn't have such a strong horror vibe to it, but it's clearly getting started with, hopefully, more to come that'll thicken the plot behind the cult.
I can also see this game has been much finely polished compared to the previous two, so it's nice to see the developer improving aspects of their game development.
Overall, this was an enjoyable experience and I cannot wait to check out more from the developer.
Either way, 11th February is marked on my calendar for the release! Great job!
